@@Anomen77 Auto-battler, to be exact I think Auto-chess just sort of a popularized term because many of the game of the genre does use chess-like layout, which Arknights surprisingly doesn't.

there's a shop with units and items, then you merge the same units together to upgrade them and have them autobattle waves. are we missing anything crucial here?
this is tower defense variant of autochess. in mlbb there also game mode like this back then. the goal is just to survive as long as possible while the wave keep getting more and more hp. its fitting to say this is pretty similiar to autochess

Seeing S3 Chalter with ASPD is killing me. All that buildup only for her to squirt it all out in like 2 seconds. S1 would've been so much better

guess you are not familiar with the genre 😅 I can imagine you really think of the sport chess but auto or something

Irritating part about auto chess is when u refresh the unit and got no one that u needed
