I choose to store these cards in my PWCC Vault to lower costs, insure them, protect them and eliminate the concern of damage resulting from fire, flood, humidity, theft or Cajun Alligator attacks down here in Louisiana. I do not hold any of my Graded Cards in my personal possession or in my home.

Looks like you got my recent grader..
I graded a lot of 87F bask pre-pandemic. Print defects (usually different forms of "snow") are usually the killers on those. Corners and centering are usually pretty easy since the paper stock is pretty solid by 80's standards. Ex: The Alvin Robertson that 7'd. From the PSA site, I could see a lot of red print snow on the front. Honestly, I would've expected a 7 or 8 more often than not (obviously there are exceptions).
Those Catch 23s are hilarious 😂 the ole sneaky Jordan
Agreed the inconsistency of PSA grading is very frustrating but the order I also got back was very similar, very tough grades, very few tens and one card they'll throw you a bone to make you feel a little bit better. I think this is the current pattern of grading at the moment
Every time I watch one of your reveal videos my “may grade” pile grows lol. I know you may not like this but I really hope TAG catches on and grows in value in the secondary market. I like everything about their slabs and I think they’ve got the most objective grading standard thus far.
I agree with everything you said, including your tag perspective. I share the exact same perspective. It’s just going to be really hard for a greeting company with no pop report to overtake a company with the pop report matters the most and then there is psa set registry and money back guarantee as well. There is a lot to overcome
PSA is ruthless on 97 Topps (Duncans, Kobe’s, Jordan’s). I’ve sent so many perfectly pristine examples - choosing to hold many back because I’m very picky. But it’s “9 city” with that set.
LOL! I never knew about mj in the Catch 23… I will look next time at them
@11:16 😂😂😂
And how do we get on your buyer list?
At least no up charge 😂. Stay positive.
Finest coatings: WITH coatings command a slight premium, but nothing drastic or insane. The trade-off is that they’re harder to grade well with the coating. So it just kind of depends, I’ve sent both. You just have to be honest in your pre-grading about whether the coating looks great or might be holding the card back, so to speak. Always nerve-racking removing them, though. 😅
Man, that Nate McMillan might be the best centering I’ve ever seen on an 87 Fleer card. Must be some other issue?
The fact that the Jordan got an 8 relative to some of those others from the same set, like the Mcmillian (which looks perfect) strongly suggests the grader was on autopilot and/or an idiot.
Im in the "grader has to keep their average grade low enough to stay ""tough" camp.. vs the had a bad day camp...
You know psa is watching graders daily averages..
When ever you get that many mis cut cards you know you have a shitty grader
Grader was obviously a lonely soccer fan
Why u trimming AI hoops rookies BRO? That's a new low
Hahahaha. Pretty desperate to do that right? 😂
