Just like Nawlins. First time I heard the correct way to say “Baltimore” I thought they had a stroke and a mouth full of marbles… then I I went to Boston and tried to listen to how they pronounce their cities and Baltimore was forgiven. Between The Wire and the crime I’ve never really wanted to go back, but now I really want to go to this restaurant.

The nicest athlete I’ve ever met was when I was 18 and manager of an oil change shop in Dublin Ohio and AJ Hawk came in and couldn’t be a nicer guy! I still have the autograph he signed! Thank you AJ I will never forget that day!
The best crab cakes come from Box Hill Pizzeria in Abingdon, Md (about 30 minutes north of Baltimore) they have won award after award after award for their crab cakes, they also ship worldwide via FedEx.
P.S. I am not affiliated with this restaurant in anyway, I just want to give them some props because they truly do have the best crab cakes you'll ever eat

I used to agree with you, but the last few times I got them, they have toned down the seasoning, I think. They are more homogenous now. Their lump and prep is on point though.

I got family in Pasadena like 3 minutes from the water and we won’t touch the fish and crabs out that water. But my dad lives on the patuxent. It’s probably the cleanest River in Maryland. Not much industry or people on the whole damn thing. Just a coal power plant and wood’s, farms, and small neighborhoods.
I was in Glen Burnie and Baltimore last September for training. The host company took us out every night for Crab Cakes at different restaurants. On the final night I mentioned being from Texas the Chef begins to tell my table that the crab, primarily during that time of the year, was shipped in from the Texas coast. He said the local crab was exported for a higher profit and too expensive for local restaurants to buy.

There used to be a seafood restaurant in Boston, Massachusetts called Jimmy's Harborside. It too was a great seafood restaurant, but in Boston, it's more of a Lobster joint than crab. it opened in 1924 and remained a South Boston Waterfront staple for 70 years. They redeveloped the Waterfront and Jimmy's became Legal Seafood under different ownership. (just some food for thought, or vice versa)

I live here in Baltimore right up the road from Jimmy's in fact and I AGREE 💯💯 they have great food but the service sucks the people are very disrespectful, the wait is horribly long, and the customer service is trash plus they are located on a major drug/prostitution strip right next to the only projects in the south eastern district

I've got family in Baltimore and every time I'm down there we go to Jimmy's. And I always hear about how the NFL players go there after games. I met a Ravens player and my Brother met Justin tucker. This was years ago but really a cool experience. Good food too.
