We talking the greatest offensive talent to ever be born. Might hurt because he ain't American. All you need to know is the NBA wrote rules to help Jordan and Harden look best. Fact is history of NBA basketball will always show rules invented to limit Chamberlain and Luka from being greatest. Luka is the most hated player ever, even more so than Lebron was in his first 5 years. Now imagine if it were not biased? Imagine if they implemented the rules, like when they let Harden redefine the gather step/zero step and forcing foul shots left and right.
NBA made that happen, because fans loved it, now they hate it, now you can't force free throws like Harden used to and they hesitate on giving Luka any fouls anyways, instead they provoke him right from the jump ball and fine him for commenting on the most bullshit calls ever. Truth is THJs game works best when he’s playing alongside Luka or Kyrie. Without either of them to create open looks for him and besides his jump shot, his play falls right off a cliff.

Luka sometimes has really dickish body language when Tim misses an ill-advised shot. It would be pretty hard for Tim not to notice that. And if Tim does notice that, it would be pretty hard for him to like Luka as a person.

110% he can be top 5 ... Think about this ... With no minimum games played Luka is 3rd in all-time PPG only Jordan and Wilt have more PPG in season than Luka .... Then there's only 2 players ever to average 30 PPG + in the playoffs Jordan and Luka ... Technically in career PPG in season and Playoffs he's 2nd only to Jordan offensively EVER ... and then people praise LeBron's career 27.2 -7.5 -7.2 deserved... well luka has a higher PPG RPG and APG 27.6. -8.6. -8.0
Nope. He’s not a two-way player. He’s bad defensively. As a fact, he’s a lot of times abysmal. A detriment to the NBA game. Scoring doesn’t matter if you’re giving up just as much points and in many cases more.
He has also proven that he is unable to be a resourceful player. People say he’s young, but at this point in his career, he still hasn’t adapted his game to where he can maximize his teammates in a 5-year career. He’s a vet at this point and has no idea how to get his teammates involved enough because he slows down the pace so much that the ball stays in his hands for so long without moving it. He takes bad shots frequently and always has to have the ball in his hands. It also doesn’t help that he’s a diva and constantly bitches at the refs for calls instead of getting back on defense.
This type of player is on the same career trajectory as James Harden. He’ll have better stats, but history often repeats itself and so far Luka has only proven to be a ball hog diva that’s only good for sports bettors and not a championship legacy type player.

@@J-Hue I completely understand that sentiment. I try to avoid hypotheticals for the sake of seeing the actuality of what is happening in the current moment. I don’t think it’s fair to discredit Luka for something he has no control of. He’s a phenomenal scorer regardless of anything and he makes very difficult shots. However, that’s the furthest extent that he has proven so far. No one can disagree with the fact that the GOATs always separated themselves because they impact the game holistically and not just one side of the court.
Luka is better then Lebron at that age (skill wise). Not conditioning and athleticism.

I don’t get why everyone with a sports microphone judge players’ greatest only based on their offensive production. Defense is also part of the game. I am not talking about just him. All players should also be judged based on their defensive production. It isn’t like football, where there is a offensive squad and a defensive squad.
It is impossible to be great on both ends of the court sinply because it is physically taxing. Do you even play basketball? Scoring takes a lot of energy especially at the guard position lol
