Anyone disappointed in this release is clearly super old and had no idea who Galantis is or what their sound is. We should be happy a new generation is being introduced to a much-loved Roxette hook through a short modern-day dance track, and stop all the whining and negativity. This is true happy, upbeat Galantis at their best! I have loved Roxette since I was 12 (I am 46) and this is an amazing tribute.

I have to disagree strongly. I have heard a lot of Galantis in the past and am familiar with their sound. For me this remix simply doesn't work it destroys the original vibe and intrigue. The genius instrumentals with guitar and so forth get replaced with a bot playing keys instead of actual feel. It feels cold and basic. The original tells a story with emotions and the range of chosen instruments give the song actual depth not this shallow murky water of EDM. EDM is a valid genre and can work. But it sure as hell didn't for Roxette

This wasn't made by a fan. It was made by Roxette. Per Gessle has been talking about the collaboration for a while.
@@EvilSpoofAuthor Galantis mentioned that they are huge Roxette fans, thats why i said it. Roxette didnt make this. Yes Per announced it cause he collaborated with them and gave them the official vocals, but as far as i know, it's a Galantis production with an officially licensed sample by Roxette.
This is a cute mix. I’d kill for some more Bassfow remixes though. The Sweet Hello, The Sad Goodbye Bassflow mix is top 5 Roxette tracks.

Makes a good introduction to Roxette through a post modern electro mix. Basically just the chorus and bridge in a loop. The original is a study of the perfect pop power ballad construction.

WOW. That was something else. Very poppy and catchy from what was much much like a power ballad, but it in no way ruined the original. It was strongly its own thing.

Nice remix. Fading like a flower is still one of my favorite songs. Still nothing will beat the original. The piano intro gets me everytime 😭. "Everytime I see you oh I try to hide away but when we meet it seems I can't let go, everytime you leave the room, I feel im fading like a flower, fading like a rose" this was a song I actually sat by the radio to tape so I could play over and over. ❤❤
