😴 Music affects our brain in a variety of ways, nearly all of them positive. It makes sense then that it could also help us sleep.
📜 “Music hath charms to soothe the savage breast / To soften rocks, or bend a knotted oak,” wrote English playwright William Congreve. If you pick a nice, slow tune that doesn’t rev you up emotionally, music may help you get a good night’s sleep.

🧠 Our brains are wired to respond to music. And since our brain sends signals to every part of our body, music can affect us in a variety of ways. On a physiological level, our breathing and heart rate will mirror the beat of a song.
🎵 Different types of songs can also alter our body chemistry and hormone levels. For example, listening to pleasant tunes can boost serotonin levels, which makes us happy. The thing is that “pleasant” is a subjective term, and so the same song can affect each of us differently.
🤓 Listening to music activates both sides our brain, the left, and the right. Engaging both sides of your brain simultaneously boosts your ability to solve problems because you’re using the creative left side of your brain at the same time as the logical right side.
😊 Music also triggers the hippocampus, which is the part of your brain that’s associated with long-term memory storage. That’s why songs from the past can help you re-enact memories, and why many of us feel nostalgic when we hear songs from our childhood, adolescence or peak times in our life. The song is helping to bring back fond and pleasant memories.

"Hi, I'm your history teacher! Did you know that there's like, super powerful but also super evil Pokemon that once caused ruin to the land several hundred years ago? Anyway, could you unseal them by breaking the stakes sealing them and go capture them for me? Thank you, you're a sucker, I mean, excellent student, kid!"
Girl don't care about the consequences she just cares about knowing what happened in the past
@@blue_lux Idk, she seems pretty sus to me.
She's the sucker though, because we actually get to keep them and use them, while she can only read about them.
@@kpopgamingstudios yep, and also vibin' to this awesome track in the process
She gives the TM for “Nasty Plot“ when you show them all four of the treasures of ruin. The game literally tells the player that shes cartoonishly up to no good
“Long ago in a distant land, we, the legendary treasures of ruin unleashed AN UNSPEAKABLE EVIL. But, foolish Pokemon trainers, wielding magic stakes, came forth to oppose us.“
Lmao fire fish go brr
… and they won.
I read that in Aku's (Mako's) voice... and I regret nothing
avatar reference or smth
I like how Raifort is essentially a modern-day Volo, except she doesn't drive any conflict and is just a funny background detail.
Now this is a certified "252+ SpA Choice Specs Beads of Ruin Tera-Fire Chi-Yu Overheat vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Blissey: 196-232 (54.1 - 64%) -- guaranteed 2HKO" classic
Those sure are words
I like your funny words magic man 😆
Tbh it's more of a "252+ SpA Choice Specs Beads of Ruin Tera Fire Chi-Yu Overheat vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Blissey in Sun: 738-870 (103.3 - 121.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO" to me
1 hour of Legendary Quartet = 1 hour of Tunak Tunak Tun
I can finally give the repeat button the long rest it deserves.
My favorite part is 0:00 to 1:03:24
same bro
Fax
And that's a fact
Trueeeeee
Faks
You are one of the best people on this earth for making a one hour version
I'm not sure whether to feel proud or ashamed that I was able to locate all but ONE of the 32 stakes without using a guide.
Proud. Definitely proud.
was the one you weren't able to find the really dumb one in the cave?
@@phantomgrape Nope. It was the one just west of the Pokémon League, on that small area past the river north of the Olive Orchard. It was simply a patch of land that I somehow kept overlooking all game long-I literally never even set foot there before looking up the stake's location.
"Anticlimactic" doesn't even begin to describe it 😑
@@ShycoWar bruh, we'll at least you four. all the rest of them. I was only able to find five of them without a guide
I knew they did something, I just didn't know what. But not marking the stakes on my map was a real dick move.
0:32 to 1:21 is my favorite part 🔥🕺
Bowl moose, Goldfish, Long cat, Leaf Snail
-Long cat- _Ferret_
@@SuperJman1111 maybe a mix of both but definetly a cat. A snow leopard to be exactly
@@melaniebiberger2191 Yeah, I heard it’s cry when trying to catch it. Definitely a leopard
I wonder if this hints at the next series of mainline Pokemon games being set in China. As sometimes Legendary/Mythical Pokemon from different generations hint at the next one. Example, Hoopa from X+Y had its rings, which may have hinted at the ultra wormholes in Sun+Moon.
I don’t know about hoopa hinting at ultra wormholes since hoopa can just hop between 2 places with its rings, ultra wormholes go between dimensions
I wondered if it is a reference to Marco Polo and the Silk Road?
We already had legendaries from china lmao
@@moon4236 Aren’t those the god ones like Tornadus
@@SuperJman1111 yes
The song sounds different after you've listened to it for an entire night.
Ah, the pain of "GET IN THE FUCKING BALL"
@@AndrewBlechinger ikr that stupid snail was so annoying for me
relatable
Im sad this music happened 4 times only
True 😔
It gives off a great Chinese vibe to the legendary theme.
I mean like, yeah they are based off Chinese myths.
But for some reason they’re in Spain, so it doesn’t really make sense lol
@@Littleeblue2010The legend is that they were brought over by a mysterious merchant
Pokémons Marco Polo probably@@CojaGamez
To me it sounds like a mix of Chinese and Egyptian.
@@djbaconbitzinc China and the middleast are both in asia and have border, so it makes sense. They dont really have a history of getting along tho...
really gives me vibes from HGSS’s Ecruteak City. i can hear the DS soundfronts.
YES DUDE. Especially at 1:28.
Hey everyone, thanks for watching the video! Please consider subscribing!
I try my best to extend each song as seamlessly as possible, so I'd really appreciate anyone who can help me out :)
1:22 to 1:43 is my favorite part of the theme
I got that Tunak Tunak Tun feeling every time.
last time pokemon went this hard with the legendary 4 theme was black/white
Swords of Justice ? Is that who you're referring to ?
@@blomgaming6480 Asked because they're the only Legendary 4 group of Unova I remember, seeing as the Genies became a group of 4 only after Legends Arceus was released.
This slaps hard !
You’re god Damn right it does!
I'm still hearing the tunak tunak tun remix.
what... this one? ua-cam.com/video/QPJ-Tk0f3bc/v-deo.html
the percussion is🔥
This Theme Makes Me Wanna Aggressively Belly Dance At My Enemies.
I personally prefer Belly Drum
Kinda gives me gen 5 vibes. And that’s a good thing
Now we just need a 10 hour version
1:28-134 is my fav part, I love the toy piano they use
I wonder how far in the future and past koraidon and miraidon take place…. Maybe from the start of the pokeworld and the end of it
This isn’t Koriadon/Miradon’s theme. This is Wo-Chien, Chien-Pao, Ting-Lu, and Chi-Yu’s theme
@@SuperJman1111 no I know I’m just saying
I feel like there's some dialogue somewhere that says the past and future are a million years away
The Legendary Tunaks
I don't know why, but this theme has me moving my arms like Shang Tsung from Mortal Kombat.
THANK YOU
These ruinous relics may have a killer theme, but what cursed them? And could the one that cursed the four items be even more powerful than the relics they cursed?
What is interesting about these 4 they basically the 4 horsemen and each one is a cause of destruction in certain areas of paldea
The only destruction that i know is that the goldfish created giant pillars of obsidian around mountains
Maybe it's programming the final boss for a blocky game
Best theme tied with team star base leader
Edited: best theme Period
Pretty Sure Gen V Remakes Incoming Since Enamourus And These Legendaries Were Introduced To Be A Part/Antithesis Of The 3 Already Existing Landorus, Tornadus, And Thunderus.
this is so clean
I love GuitarHeroStyle's song, (this song uses guitar for his streams)
My song when I race on Mystic Peaks in NFS II (SE).
the music is the banger and the arenagym theme is the banger too atleast smht good game freak did smht wiht the music
I just can't unhear
Tunak tunak tun da da da
Dammit what have you done
they really just redid tunak tunak tun and thought nobody would notice huh
Imagine if you see Quaquaval dancing
Very Ting'lu
this whole song is good, but 1:28 - 1:35 is the best part
I love the toy piano they use!
So based on the music they are either from Egypt or the Indian Equivalent on PokeEarth?
The four sealed legendaries are based on the four perils of Chinese mythology, which are portrayed as being the opposites of the 4 sacred animals (which are the Therian Formes of the Unovan genies)
- Ting-Lu is based on Taotie the gluttonous beast, the "face" on the pot antlers is a giveaway
- Chien-Pao is based on Qiongqi the beast of depravity which is usually depicted as a tiger in China but a weasel in Japan, hence the design of a smilodon with weasel-like long body.
- Wo-Chien is based on Taowu the beast of misguiding people through divination, hence the wooden scrolls on its back.
- Chi-Yu is based on Hundun the beast of chaos, as its dex entry says it sparks wars. Hundun is usually depicted as a faceless blob with wings, which it kinda resembles if you ignore the jade eyes
@@lurkinjeeves I am guessing this is supposed to be a reference to the Silk Road? I know Marco Polo was a Venetian but close enough I guess? Apparently the Pokemon were brought to Paldea by a merchant from a distant land.
actually its china
I hate Nintendo/The Pokémon Company not putting the official themes on Spotify.
All we get are remixes/covers and most of them don’t have the same feeling dread or the same kind of bop(or i sometimes like to say bounce, like when something smoothly but quickly changes, music wise) to it. Like this part 29:48 (i know its already played a billion times but this was where i was in the song), i has this weird smooth kind of bounce feeling, it really gets me into the vibe, y’know?
Please tell me if you can relate to this so i don’t sound like an idiot or weird(but i already am so i guess don’t make me more weird)
Also by far one of the best themes in the game.
I definitely relate to the fact that none of the remixes of this song I've ever listened to have the same energy as the original. They always pull back some element of it and I'm like, no! Make it even louder and bouncier please! That part you pointed out is exactly the part I like most too, the way the melody almost tries to outpace the beat, it's so good I need more tracks like this in Pokemon
It’s only good until 1:03:24, everything after that sounds awful
Very true
Fouvorite part 0:44 -0:55

Funfact: Miraidon and Koraidon is a Cyclizar in future and past
Woah, really!?!?
Man, kind of a shame that Ruinous Quartet look so underwhelming for "evil and destrucive" pokemon. Especially the fire fishy.
Their theme slaps and their origins are amazing. I also like that you actually have to do a bit work before getting access to them.
YOU DARE UNDERESTIMATE THE FISH WHICH HAS 1 OF THE HIGHEST KILL COUNTS JUST BY SWIMMING
