The thing I like the most about the game is the character variety and how unique they individually are. I main Mr. Compress and play Uraraka, Shigaraki or Kirishima from time to time and my playstyle is completely different with each of these characters.

This game definitely surprised me. Been having a lot of fun playing with the bros. There's a surprising amount of depth here between the characters, and it really made me wanna try multiple people after I initially went on a tear with Mt. Lady. Hopefully the continue to build and expand on the foundation, because there is an insane amount of potential here.
Just hit gold today and I will say this game has huge potential. The different strategies you can use with different teams add so much variety to the gameplay. I just hope they keep making every character’s mechanics interesting while making it complement the team comps.
I'm having a lot of fun with the game. The one thing I would say is another negative that wasn't mentioned are some characters' movent abilities. Specifically Deku and Uruaka's. Their grapple tools for escaping or attacking are so finicky. Deku's hits and I just stay in place even though I jumped or in Uruaka's case hers distorts into buildings and doesn't take me anywhere. It's a good game that I hope gets better and sticks around. It's up to the devs.
I've experienced this too, think it has something to do with grappling too soon after jumping, I've found that delaying the grapple makes it work more consistently, at least in my case.
love the plus ultra mechanic feeling like you're going beyond you're limits and making a come back. that's something that i really love about the game.
One thing that I missed in this game and that it had in the beta, is Deku's Black Whip ability, in the Beta, one of the things you could do was spamming the button for Deku to do something different, in this case he kept giving several "whiplashes" and that, that was pretty strong, but I think they removed it because I tried everything in training mode and I couldn't replicate it again
Bakugo and todoroki are insane. I think they should be toned down it just baffles me that All Might does less damage up close smashes and all than bakugo from 20 blocks away.
Seasons have 3 events each, a mission event, a drop event and a battle event. So far, we don't know what a drop or battle event entails but the mission event is self evident
I wonder when we will get more advanced versions of each character, a Deku with smokescreen and his danger sense along with a better blackwhip and aerial mobility with a passive float, a war arc self-burning/prominence Dabi, High-end Hoodie, black nomu from U.A, other villains like Stain, All for One, Twice, Overhaul there is so much more character we could have, and for stages I mean Kamino, the hospital/war location, the city from the my villain arc, there is plenty of places to add
I would like if heros have more that just the default abilities they have, it will make the game more dynamic, and it would be great if each player can make his own skill set for the character
Saying this is a game without 'guns' is insane. Getting gunned down by Midoriya, Bakugo and Todoroki. Youre shooting people for like 100 damage WITHOUT A CHANCE OF INVINCIBILITY. I play Cementos and Froppy, almost everything they do pushes the character away and puts them into a invincibility state. Thats not balanced/fun . Rewards are lacking and UI is just confusing. I like the game, but my love for My Hero carries that heavily
Use your brain buddy. By guns he means weapons you pick up that can be the same as another character. No two characters have the same kit. It’s not like COD where you can have the same smg. Froppy and cementos aren’t get in your face characters. If you want that play shigaraki or kirishima.

Seems like they should play different characters to lean more into that playstyle, or adapt their playstyle to Froppy/Cementos - while still keeping a bit more of the aggression they’re looking for, either that or they just need better timing (I might’ve misunderstood what they’re going for, but eh.)

We need to talk about the gacha system. It costs over 300 dollars to roll enough times to exchange points for one of their characters. And this is the only way to play them. That is not free to play friendly. That's an out right scam.

If the game matched it, I'd expect 5 shots max, but honestly more like 3. He gets like 9.. Its weird. I don't have Bakugo unlocked but he seems similar.
Well, counting each finger, you need two to flick once. You have ten total, flicking breaks one finger. So using math, 10 fingers - 1 that cannot flick alone equals = 9.
getting nuked is even worse on pc. I only play Mr. compress, Toga and Shigaraki but every lobby i'm in it's always Deku, Todoroki, Bakugo, Frog girl and nothing else. Everyone is playing these meta long range nukers or high mobility instant res heros and it's kinda getting annoying. Would love for there to be a damage drop off on range or maybe just a damage reduction on some of these
I play on PC as well and feel this exact way I feel the player base on our side will die fast because of a 3 to 4 character meta support feels useless in solo q
The monetization system really killed my interest in this game. Why make characters with different abilities if you can't play them unless you grind or roll.
My only 3 requests is for this game is giving us more deku masks or telling us how do we get more or how long we gotta wait. 2nd is telling us what our allies is drinking or using like with the revive cards. I don't wanna give a sheild up for a party drink when my friend is also drinking the same thing. And 3rd. Just... some UI clean up. It's a headache looking at the menu, the missions, and the purchasable. It's all so clunky. It feels like a maze.
They need to nerf most characters ranged attack. Bakugo straight up does 105 per shot. Todoroki and deku is not much worse either. God forbid that team meets a Kirishima

The battle pass, as far as I am aware, gives you extra crystals. The 4,500 from my understanding and math is only for the pro line. The standard line gives you more crystals than that. So you’ll be getting more crystals back than what you spent. I’ll double check to be sure but yeah. Also I got the the one of new characters on the banner and I have never been happier. Especially with all my mains being nerfed or not unlocked yet.
This needs crossplay... On PC it already takes some time to get a match (like 30 seconds). I can't see it living long outside of the lowest common denominator group (PS4, which includes PS5 as well)

I just tried it and it reminded me a bit of Spellbreak which was a magic-based battle royale. No guns which I actually really enjoyed too. I think the UX on the main screen and character screen is very clunky and a lot can be fixed. Also, there's a ridiculous amount of varying currencies. But gameplay itself is very fun. A LOT of potential for this game. I believe this game will go a long way.
Having a LOT of fun with this game. I'd say if they make more maps, they should limit the amount of teams on this current one. You will drop right next to one or more other teams 75% of the time, since you can't see where other people choose to land before it starts. It feels like you're always just a short walk from other players no matter where you are, lol. Also would be great if there was a free for all mode where everybody's on their own team with no partners. That kinda chaos would be really fun in this game, I think
I didn't pay attention at the license system before spending my cristals and use all them on the gactha, but at least i get Momo and Ibara so i think it was well spend.
First review video in a while and we come back strong with an A rank. Kind of missed the review content. Even if I already knew my thoughts on a game or already bought it, its entertaining in a weird way.
This game is really fun for a battle royale, all the characters with grapples (tsuyu, ochaco, deku) almost feel like spiderman with how you can swing from rooftop to rooftop. I just wish landing the ranged attacks didnt feel so tough!
My main problems is the point system in ranked. I've won matches and still lost point because i didn't k.o anyone and barely did 1k damage as a SUPPORT. And then gain more points with 2 minutes of bakugo in dead last...
Only real change i want is to the ui, so much things annoy me, don't work properly or are just unpleasant to look at😂 it took me way to long to figure out how to leave a team in lobby because the option is put in the most unusual place, same with leaving a match after you're dead or sorting out your bag, its slow and clunky and weird to use, obviously its a new game so im cutting it slack i just wish they'd upgrade the ui
My biggest gripe is they kinda asset flipped alot of move sets from ones justice 2 (which i played the shit out of in 2019 and 2020 with my friends) and the way the looting works. Other than that. Game is really growing on me
This game is literally the best Free to play game I have ever played. I seriously want a One Piece BR just like this now!! I don’t like MHA anymore but this brought me back to the days I played MHOJ2 with my friends having a blast. I seriously can’t wait for Jirou’s release whenever that happens
I agree with most everything you said throughout this video. The need for crossplay is high, it helps keep games alive longer and more gamemodes/rulesets are a necessity as well. However the one thing I disagreed with is the fact that you shouldn't pay for the license. If you don't want to, you don't have to and if you can't afford it don't because you can get it for free. However if you're enjoying the game and wanna show support pay for premium currency or get the $20 bundle. Free to play games only survive if they bring in some sort of money, no matter how many people play it so showing support now will be a good thing in the long hall.
I honestly believe they should’ve just spent all their money on developing this game from the beginning with better character models ,higher fidelity , non clunky movement mechanics, it’s a good game but could lve been way better at launch
Honestly I've found the game super sweaty so far, and the way you unlock characters is pretty annoying. Overall, I'm definitely loving the game, it just feels a bit janky. If they do some balancing/bug patches/improvements, this could be one of my favorite games.
Also I’m really excited for getting the new characters but also having new maps on cross play would be the best way for them to benefit and make more money
I always said to my boys that they should have a jumpforce esq roster in a battle royale and transformations are earned through kills and hard to find transformation cards in loot.
my one question is How would they choose new maps? like we've only seen so much of the environment from the anime, right (Spoilers up a head, this is your only warning, not like none of you guys who read this haven't already seen the anime😅) Like the producers of the game very well could add the dark deku map (being the main environment we see vigilante deku in. They may also try to add the training map we see in i think it was Season 2 or 3 where we see dekus first ever encounter with Muscular and trying to save Kota, etc...

This game seems extremely similar to the Jojo’s bizarre adventure battle royal game, “Last Survivor”. Unfortunately that game is a Japan arcade exclusive, but I still recommend checking out its gameplay.

Hands down, this is the best experience I've ever had on a battle royale, gameplay-wise. Though monetization and progression feel a bit tedious or even predatory, I can set that aside and just enjoy the wonderful gameplay the developers have given us.
This is my personal opinion I like: -The gameplay -The many characters to come -Auto revive -the map What I don't like: -too many effects -Movement feels clunky and slow -the amount of stuff you can get from the big crate -that you either fully commit or not -its extremely hard to retreat -a lot of stun moments. I actually don't hate this game but it just feels so hard to understand and I don't mind the gacha part, it's whatever (personally). The game is still flawed and needs some heavy fix/quality of life changes, but it's a fun game.
The best thing to compare it to is Naraka bladepoint melee focused with ranged options & different characters with abilities. I really feel a pairy system would be nice in the game or a perfect dodge could cause a counter shot
The difference is that Naraka still follows the usual "find weapons and armor of different rarities" while this game seems to be more focused on the drops being ways to empower your kit.
The character unlock system is the worst part by far and needs to be changed yesterday. This makes no sense to lock characters like this for a game like this, its not like cosmetics, you're locking literal characters and gameplay behind gachas and paid shit

Every character is rlly strong. Except dabi. Dabi needs a major damage buff hes the only person that hits like a noodle even with lvl 9 r2. Also controller support needs aim assist on pc. (Tweaked of course) some characters do need a nerf tho because they can literally 3 shot you. Shoto needs adjustment too. Also they need more maps quick and solo and duo. And crossplay most definitely.
I absolutely HATE Battle Royale type games BUT I LOVE MHA. To me the only thing that keeps me playing it is the vs CPU and i can still level up too. The thing the i dislike the most is locked characters.

Try holding the grapple button, that should work

I feel maybe their damage should be toned down or have the damage become half if they are far enough away. They are overtuned.
They need to reduce the damage or bring back knockdowns on their Alpha skills. It used to be a thing in the beta and they removed it for some reason.

Been playing it on my steam deck, and I'm getting a locked 60fps the whole time, this game was optimized perfectly
With friends you have a good time. Solo, oh boi. Not so much. You got the quitters or the throwers
I just tried it and it reminded me a bit of Spellbreak which was a magic-based battle royale. No guns which I actually really enjoyed too. I think the UX on the main screen and character screen is very clunky and a lot can be fixed. Also, there's a ridiculous amount of varying currencies. But gameplay itself is very fun. A LOT of potential for this game. I believe this game will go a long way.
PC/Steam version having no aim assist is actually great
I love playing as Shigaraki, but it was a tough learning process which made it fun for me plus I got the 3⭐️ Shigaraki outfit on my second pull

Having a LOT of fun with this game. I'd say if they make more maps, they should limit the amount of teams on this current one. You will drop right next to one or more other teams 75% of the time, since you can't see where other people choose to land before it starts. It feels like you're always just a short walk from other players no matter where you are, lol. Also would be great if there was a free for all mode where everybody's on their own team with no partners. That kinda chaos would be really fun in this game, I think
I didn't pay attention at the license system before spending my cristals and use all them on the gactha, but at least i get Momo and Ibara so i think it was well spend.
First review video in a while and we come back strong with an A rank. Kind of missed the review content. Even if I already knew my thoughts on a game or already bought it, its entertaining in a weird way.
According to leaks, there's already another map been leaked so definitely this game is getting more maps
This game is really fun for a battle royale, all the characters with grapples (tsuyu, ochaco, deku) almost feel like spiderman with how you can swing from rooftop to rooftop. I just wish landing the ranged attacks didnt feel so tough!
My main problems is the point system in ranked.
I've won matches and still lost point because i didn't k.o anyone and barely did 1k damage as a SUPPORT.
And then gain more points with 2 minutes of bakugo in dead last...
all this game needs to do for me is keep the content and for me that is characters and maps. Maybe eventually something else but for now that is all.
Only real change i want is to the ui, so much things annoy me, don't work properly or are just unpleasant to look at😂 it took me way to long to figure out how to leave a team in lobby because the option is put in the most unusual place, same with leaving a match after you're dead or sorting out your bag, its slow and clunky and weird to use, obviously its a new game so im cutting it slack i just wish they'd upgrade the ui
I come from apex legends so everything in this game feels like a downgrade "wish version " but its still a fun game and has potential
My biggest gripe is they kinda asset flipped alot of move sets from ones justice 2 (which i played the shit out of in 2019 and 2020 with my friends) and the way the looting works. Other than that. Game is really growing on me

This game is literally the best Free to play game I have ever played. I seriously want a One Piece BR just like this now!! I don’t like MHA anymore but this brought me back to the days I played MHOJ2 with my friends having a blast. I seriously can’t wait for Jirou’s release whenever that happens
I agree with most everything you said throughout this video. The need for crossplay is high, it helps keep games alive longer and more gamemodes/rulesets are a necessity as well.
However the one thing I disagreed with is the fact that you shouldn't pay for the license. If you don't want to, you don't have to and if you can't afford it don't because you can get it for free. However if you're enjoying the game and wanna show support pay for premium currency or get the $20 bundle. Free to play games only survive if they bring in some sort of money, no matter how many people play it so showing support now will be a good thing in the long hall.
I honestly believe they should’ve just spent all their money on developing this game from the beginning with better character models ,higher fidelity , non clunky movement mechanics, it’s a good game but could lve been way better at launch
Honestly I've found the game super sweaty so far, and the way you unlock characters is pretty annoying. Overall, I'm definitely loving the game, it just feels a bit janky. If they do some balancing/bug patches/improvements, this could be one of my favorite games.
The game is fun to me, the worst part to me is baguko and deku are OP they can kill you in 2 or 4 hits and that's with full HP and shield
Something that I personally would like for them to add is a lock on feature and a solos and duos mode.
I'll see how this game turns out because spell break was similar in style

I always said to my boys that they should have a jumpforce esq roster in a battle royale and transformations are earned through kills and hard to find transformation cards in loot.

Like the producers of the game very well could add the dark deku map (being the main environment we see vigilante deku in. They may also try to add the training map we see in i think it was Season 2 or 3 where we see dekus first ever encounter with Muscular and trying to save Kota, etc...

This game seems extremely similar to the Jojo’s bizarre adventure battle royal game, “Last Survivor”. Unfortunately that game is a Japan arcade exclusive, but I still recommend checking out its gameplay.

Hands down, this is the best experience I've ever had on a battle royale, gameplay-wise. Though monetization and progression feel a bit tedious or even predatory, I can set that aside and just enjoy the wonderful gameplay the developers have given us.
I love this game, only thing I want is character specific settings, I wanna use a certain set of controls for deku but different ones for dabi or tsu
This is my personal opinion
I like:
-The gameplay
-The many characters to come
-Auto revive
-the map
What I don't like:
-too many effects
-Movement feels clunky and slow
-the amount of stuff you can get from the big crate
-that you either fully commit or not
-its extremely hard to retreat
-a lot of stun moments.
I actually don't hate this game but it just feels so hard to understand and I don't mind the gacha part, it's whatever (personally).
The game is still flawed and needs some heavy fix/quality of life changes, but it's a fun game.
The best thing to compare it to is Naraka bladepoint melee focused with ranged options & different characters with abilities. I really feel a pairy system would be nice in the game or a perfect dodge could cause a counter shot
The difference is that Naraka still follows the usual "find weapons and armor of different rarities" while this game seems to be more focused on the drops being ways to empower your kit.

The character unlock system is the worst part by far and needs to be changed yesterday. This makes no sense to lock characters like this for a game like this, its not like cosmetics, you're locking literal characters and gameplay behind gachas and paid shit

It being free does not excuse bad game design and poor player experience. They already have many cosmetics and loot boxes in the game, those are the price you pay for playing a free game. Actual gameplay and characters should not be part of that.
On PC the aim is insane. But I'm having so much fun and I love that the games aren't a long looting fest, battles feel varied and just right.

hopefully they add crossplay for all 3 consoles but not PC until they get the hacker problem under control on that side of the game
You can tweak the settings in training so the health of the bots regenerates.
I had all my shields along with half my shield nuked in one shot by a bakugo right after the match started. Truly an experience
Theres gonna be a lot of characters and maps coming to the game soon, but i hope crossplay comes soon so people stay long enough to enjoy a lot of content

Every character is rlly strong. Except dabi. Dabi needs a major damage buff hes the only person that hits like a noodle even with lvl 9 r2. Also controller support needs aim assist on pc. (Tweaked of course) some characters do need a nerf tho because they can literally 3 shot you. Shoto needs adjustment too. Also they need more maps quick and solo and duo. And crossplay most definitely.
I absolutely HATE Battle Royale type games BUT I LOVE MHA. To me the only thing that keeps me playing it is the vs CPU and i can still level up too. The thing the i dislike the most is locked characters.
