Probobly the mother of Canut was polish Princess called Świętosława, a daugther of duke of the Polans Mieszko I and Doubravka of Bohemia (Dobrawa) ♥ Well... maybe that`s why we`ll watch this tv show.

I love 'em both. I highly recommend checking out Vinland Saga, it's THE BEST viking show I've ever seen in my opinion. It's an anime show but good lord the character development and plot are godly. It's a "saga" so expect the characters to have superhuman feats. Then there's Canute, literally one of the most savage in the series, he's a MENACE especially when he became King of Denmark.
Umm, If Canute is the descendant of Ragnar, by Sigurd, and Emma the descendant of Rollo then aren't they related?? I mean this is completely historically inaccurate so no surprises there. I guess since Sigurd was killed off then they aren't related in the series, honestly this sequel mostly sucks.
But...wasn't Sigurd killed by Ivar in the series?. Oh well, since when "Vikings" had been historically accurate? What you said is very very interesting: if indeed they are, they would be very distant relative, so there might not be consequences.
Please do your research before hating without a point. It's scientifically proven that not all vikings were white- thats just a popculture stereotype. There were few vikings with darker skintones as well.
