- So ironically the Bomber 5up sorta sabotaged the success of the bomb going off by sabotaging the Comms Doors!

I love how impostors can see who has been bombed, so it is not wasted, and literally the first thing gumi does in this game is kill the bombed person

The role is too new, so imposters don't have it in their mind yet to keep an eye out for that marker. Sometimes they just kill without noticing their target was bombed.

@@fireflyinspiration639 he also admitted to reading chat to know velvet was the swapper and pretending to be the swapper which is why he bombed velvet then immediately buttoned to kill rather than let velvet talk in the meeting. He wonders why people think he’s the bad guy but it’s because he’s a narcissist who doesn’t think the rules apply to him. There’s always a “reason” for what he does and he never takes accountability so he’d never ask to be voted out like that.

@@AmongUsAcademy I guess agree to disagree then. I certainly do not consider 5up a villain. Critiquing a mistake made is not feeding a narrative that he's a villain.
I *do* believe that he made a mistake and should have owned up to it and taken the L with some amount of grace. People make mistakes. I'm just hopeful that he learns from it. Rather than pushing it aside as others just unfairly holding him to account, when in reality it's just a desire to have him hold himself to the same account as he's holding the others in the lobby.

The button is their as an option, it’s the same with the morphing, grenadier, undertaker and swooper. You have an extra button but you don’t need to use it

This is such a gem of a game. Like, Steve... literal god for that play. Perfection. Amazing. Then Steve... fucking destroyed while being told to pay attention. Again, perfection. Then the swapper confusion and Dumbdog's poor green body flopping over at the end. Beautiful. Amazing. Love it. But the best part? 5up's little boy voice in that flashback. He sounds like a child!?
I think it's perfectly reasonable that 5Up made a mistake which ended up with him breaking his own rule. My issue is, there doesn't appear to be any repercussions for him doing this. I know this is an old video, but yeah, just kind of disappointed that 5Up didn't do anything to make it up to Steve.

in regards to 5ups comment. at least in my opinion, i dont think its the rules or being a lobby leader that's necessarily the problem/reason for thr negative view. i think its mores hafu and 5ups attitude because you dont see the same discourse with the chilled lobbies. hafu and 5up are never capable of admitting they did something poorly or messed up. dont get me wrong theyre both good gamers but obviously everyone makes mistakes, however they will have a bad kill, argument, excuse, etc. and when they get voted out ramble to their chat about how there is no way they shouldve been caught even though they definitely should have. also at times they have both sounded slightly condescending to/of the other lobby members which doesnt sit right with me as they are all in the same occupation and no one is superior and especially when you consider how young 5up is. i started to notice toast do this in his lobbies with sykkuno, corpse, etc. and i think that created a hostile environment especially when the whole point is to have fun. if this was chilled's lobby or anyone elses and they did what 5up did to steve accident or not they would have called a meeting owned up to it and gotten voted off strictly based on principle and respect. 5up and hafu just always seemed so concerned with looking better than everyone else and winning that they couldn't gracefully take Ls and attempt to have fun.

100% back Hailey's comment on this. I wholeheartedly disagree that the lobby organizers of any lobby are painted as villains. It's literally just Hafu and 5up because of their personalities and always trying to appear "better". The 1st lobby that came to mind to me was also Chilled/Ze's lobbies and they always apologize and confess to their mistakes like Hailey said.
I can’t speak much to Hafu (as I haven’t watched her stream much), but one of the major reasons I unfollowed 5up was exactly this. Every time he was voted out as imp it was always someone else’s fault, even when he was caught. Last January he was blaming Hafu when someone else had caught him, and then chat exploded into ‘women shouldn’t game’ messages (not encouraged by 5up though).
It’s harsh to watch streamers with personalities like that when you have the Chilled/Ze lobbies and even players from the old Hafu/5up lobbies that are there to have fun and don’t have the same negative reactions to being caught.

I actually think 5up is leaps and bounds worse at being a respectful player than hafu. For mistakes, at least she's the first to vote herself... But aside from amongus, 5up has a sense of superiority over people even when they're older than him (maybe it's cultural idk)

Steve was also Medic so he shielded Dumbdog, his lover. When he was bombed he passed the bomb to DD who can’t die bc the shield. Unlucky tho that he was typing in lover chat so he didnt see who bombed him
@@emilybrown3610 I think Rita means when 5up killed Steve later in the game. There's a setting for the lovers that makes them both die when one of them dies, but apparently they weren't playing with that setting this time

Oh look who spoiled Steve’s game AGAIN. This time breaking his own rule! Resorting to cheating what a shame. Then complains about getting comments slating him. 🙄 I actually used to watch his videos. Now it seems he tries desperately to stay top dog all the time. People have praised him too much.
I honestly think it was a mistake by him, judging by his genuine reaction after too.
It's not hard to see how this mistake was made. Every imposter role has a kill button: regular, morphling, swooper, cleaner, undertaker, assassin, etc. But grenadier is the only one that isn't supposed to use it, despite having one. But when you spend hours each day for 9+ months constantly having to press that same button over and over again, then it becomes muscle memory, and easy to do unthinkingly. With that being said, I do think he should have outed himself for it.
I think they should stop inviting Ellem to these games if he behaves like this. It's not funny, it's just annoying and desisting. Don't want to keep watching.
