Shawn Micheals should be in the 90s and no lower than 90. He is one of the greatest wrestlers in the world. The guy never had a boring match imo. He was always entertaining to watch. He'll always be one of my favorites of all time..
2K loves downplaying how good HBK actually is for some reason like he should legit at least be in the 90s at this stage especially after giving us some of the best matches out there

It be nice if this game didn't have duplicate characters on the roster.. I'd rather have you pick the wrestler first then select the Era behind it.. if that make sense
Surprisely this roster is actually cool, I had low expectations after all the releases to the point where WWE 2K22 took the better decision to retain the mayority of them.
And still, there are more unlockable characters through MyRise which the streams revealed as: Ezekiel, Molly Holly, Molly Holly '02, Mighty Molly and Jean-Paul Levesque (Triple H former gimmick in WCW)

Shawn MIchaels, Undertaker, Rey Mysterio, Batista, Triple H, Edge should be rated a lot higher. These guys did a lot for the show for along time, plus they were all world champions. Also the game should of included Chris Jericho, Christian, Cm Punk, Kane, Big Show and even wrestlers like The Great Khali, William Regal, Finlay, Samoa Joe and more, maybe place them as free agents or something.
I agree with you 100% and about some of those names since they aren’t under contract with wwe it’s just not possible
@@FittestGamers you are missing at least 1 dude in the roster that I noticed. You get him from a side quest in myrise it is a wcw triple h who has the name “Jean-Paul Levesque”.
If you’re looking to get him just make sure to keep checking your dms with Travish, he will ask you to imagine him beating levesque and that is where u unlock him.
Agreed. Rey at 86 is crazy. Especially with him in the hall of fame now. I personally think ‘09 Randy should’ve been way higher too.
I really hope Edge, Undertaker or Randy makes it into the front cover next year.

It's unreal how much 2K downplays HBK in their games like we all know HBK is at least a 90s caliber wrestler and when I look back at the classic THQ series they easily had way more respect for HBK than 2K

Love this roster. Hollywood Hogan and Ministry Undertaker are my favorites. Love that we get both. Wish we could do a ministry Showcase (or have the ministry members in era appropriate attire)

Remember when Super Cena had a 97 Overall in one of the SVR games, and he was surpassed by Undertaker with a 98 Overall. And now that’s surpassed by Roman Reigns 99 Overall. Took 13 years to get a new highest rated superstar of all games

Roster is a whole lot better than last year's. My only gripe is I wish they had DX versions of Triple H and Shawn Michaels and the 90s version of Rock, Edge and Kane.
No Candice Lerae, Chelsea Green, Michin, Emma, Tegan Nox, Top Dolla, Ashante the Adonis, Karl Anderson, Gollows and no Bronson Reed... huge disappointment
Haven’t been into wrestling for years but with all this nostalgia of my childhood I got 2k23 this year haven’t played a wrestling game since wcw vs nwo 😂

Can you purchase a DLC or something to unlock everything. (2). Can you adjust their overall and attributes or are they stuck the way they are? Thank you
I am SO happy that my boy Randy Orton has finally gone back to an overall 90+. I was shocked Randy was an 87 in 2K19 and Randy not even getting an 89 upset me in 2k20 and 22 like 87 and 88 for Randy is too low. If Cena and triple H get overalls in the 90s Randy should also. So so glad randy is back with a 93! Like Triple H Cena Undertaker and Batista get good overalls, Randy should also

Prime Lesnar (03) being lower than his current form is atrocious. Shawn Michaels not being +90 is another one. Edge 06 being lower than current.

Is it possible to purchase the rosters from the other games? For example let’s say I have WWE 2k16 which i know is old but I don’t have the accelerator (which unlocks everything) can I still purchase the roster in the WWE Store?
Hopefully next year they can do Attitude Era/ Monday Night Wars 96-2002 showcase mode playing multiple matches and ppvs from that era as all the best wrestlers from that time period with PS5 graphics that would b soooo 🔥🔥 give us 30 and up Fans a reason to buy and bring that Nostalgia back.. Even if the released Different DLC content from that era throughout the year to play would be 🔥

This isnt a bad roster. I love the fact that people make the wrestlers they want and you can download them. But until 2k makes a 500 man roster with all eras itll always be lack luster in some way. I wish they would just spend 3 years on one game and make it the best ever rather than copy and paste every year. Make it to where someone can play through undertakers whole career. You have the wwe license you should be able to go through so many more wrestlers and ppvs and years. Theres so much content that isnt even touched.

Also, WWE 2K should make WWE 2K24 with a supercharger that unlocks everything no matter what modes the wrestlers or championship titles are hidden behind. There should be way more legends from the 80s and 90s that should be included. They should also include wrestlers that used to be in WWE no matter what. There should be generic entrance music or sounds added for created wrestlers. Also, all the wrestlers should have more than one alternate outfit including rather they have hair or no hair.
Next game they should give us an HBK and Bret hart rivalry player through or Monday night Wars (play through all companies)

Do you get all of the legends / icons like Hollywood Hogan, the Rock, NWO Nash etc with the standard edition or are they only included in the higher editions? I basically only want to play against my son so just want a good set of characters to keep it interesting
You can get these in the game it’s just you have to unlock them but I got the icon edition so they all came unlocked. So yes ultimately you can use them against your son lol

Really think could do say Harlem Heat era Booker T and Stevie Ray, WCW era Ron Simmons, Ahmed Johnson, the GodFather, Papa Shongo, Dean Malenko, Arn Anderson, Earthquake and Typhoon, the Road Warriors/Legion of Doom, Rick Rude.

Awesome that you can win Bruno and peak Hogan in the same match. And yes, peak Hogan should have been rated higher than 2002 Hogan (98 just under Roman, he was unpinnable for 4 years straight).

Yes you can customize all those things and even arenas! You can create arenas. Story line is pretty fun and so is the showcase mode

The showcase ones and purchasables you get as you play then the dlc you have to get separate but that’s comes with the icon edition
They better make Bray Wyatt, and the Fiend DLC, even though he should have been in the game in the first place. Other wrestlers: Santino Marella, Victoria, The Big Show, The Great Kahli, Mark Henry, Ric Flair, classic Kane, Kelly Kelly, and Mankind. I wanted to add Chris Jericho, CM Punk, Mickie James, The Hardys, Daniel Bryan, and Christian, but I know they wrestle for Impact and AEW.
What I can say is that Bray Wyatt is coming but in June

There could be WCW, USWA, TNA, and AEW dream matches or tag teams. Just imagine Shawn Michaels vs Dolp Ziggler vs Brian Christopher in a match or as a faction. The USOs, Harlem Heat, The Road Warriors, PG-13, Motor City Machine Guns, The Rock and Stone Cold, Randy Orton and John Cena, and Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart in a tag team tournament. It can be Razor Ramon vs Diesel vs Sid Vicious in a match or they could be a faction. Then it can also be The Boogeyman and Papa Shango as a tag team vs The Undertaker and Kane as a tag team. I can see Jerry Lawler and Ric Flair as a tag team vs Billy Graham and Paul Orndoff vs Harley Race and Rick Rude vs Hulk Hogan and Macho Man. Finally The Rock vs Stone Cold vs Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar vs Booker T vs Randy Orton vs John Cena vs Triple H vs Batista vs The Undertaker vs Hulk Hogan vs Roman Reigns in a tournament.

This game has one of the best rosters ever. I have played most WWE games since Shut Your Mouth and have played No Mercy and TNA Impact and this really is a pavked roster imo. Over 200 wrestlers in the base game is just crazy. Could it better? Definitely. Rosters can always be better. An older version of Kane and Mankind, among other wrestlers could be added, but what we have here is literal fire. 2K22 was not bad but it was not great either. This is much better. And anything missing can be downloaded from Community Creations.
