Wasn't planning on doing anything for Purim this year beyond facetiming my parents and asking about our temple's carnival. This song filled me with such joy and a sense of community that I found a local carnival to go to. I was too nervous to reach out to an unfamiliar community at first, but I want to take a shot and stay close to my culture. I've loved your songs for years and always go on excited rants to explain them to my non-Jewish friends, and at a time where I didn't even realize I had begun feeling so disconnected from my culture I needed this song more than ever. Thank you for all the joy over the years and all the incredible ear worms to come!
it can be very hard to be away but internship will be worth it at the end and i am sure there is an chabad house where you at, that you can join and they will likely to help you with anything future references for passover

I have now watched this four times in succession. It's amazing! I gave up movies four years ago for a variety of reasons that I won't go into and this gives me major nostalgia. There are certain delightfully unexpected, particularly energetic moments to the song and I hear Lin Manuel Miranda in them. He's so brilliant. Thank you for packaging this to me in a Jewish setting! I get to enjoy LMM's work while being moved by Esther's plight. I think I'll go read a dvar Torah on Purim now. You guys get the credit.
