Maitidevi Lakhey back after 30 Years in Nepal 🇳🇵

Maitidevi Lakhey / Maiti Lakhe is the cultural identity of Maitidevi Temple in Kathmandu, Nepal. It was almost extinct for 3 decades, but last year in 2023 with the synergy of local representatives, energetic youths and support from locals the Lakhey (demon in Godly form) was brought back with great enthusiasm and celebrations. This year as well, the overwhelming energy is bigger and continues to be fond jatra in the heart of Maitidevi residents and culture lovers.
