reduce its reliance on imports of petroleum products.
The refinery, which is expected to generate 9,500 direct and 25,000 indirect jobs, will produce Euro-V quality gasoline and diesel, as well as jet fuel and polypropylene. I am so happy good things are happening in Africa. If not for bad leadership, corruption, political instability and problems of succession to power, Africa should be at par with Europe and America. We have the natural resources and intellectual capacity to be better than what we have now. But there is Hope. I Love Africa.
Lagos Nigeria
God bless ETHIOPIA love from Nigeria the capital of Africa
Did you mean the capital of cybercrimes, drug trafficking, counterfeiting foreign currencies, and undoubtedly the center of the most educated Africans on continent?
bobby no he meant capital
That's not true, may be a wish or an illusion. Each country has a capital but most importantly culture and moral values are very crucial to determine who can take a lead. So, what is important for us is to love our fellow Africans first and our beautiful continent.
@Dominion Ogunjinrin so u will go far
@@b.3940 Uneducated fool. If you are you will understand the root of all African problems

Africa is certainly going places! Let's hope all this is successful and I look forward to doing business with my African Brothers and Sisters!
I am very impressed with all the ongoing projects in Africa. But for me the single one that is the most impressive is the privately funded Dangote Oil refinery because there is no liability on the state. Well done Mr Dangote.
Let’s Make Africa 1 Love, 1People, 1Country. Time For African People’s.❤️
My hope as a Plumbing Engineer from America is to work on a Mega Project in Africa. I hope to contribute my 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) skills.
U're welcome
@@abasskalalatom8476Thank you for the welcome. My plan is to move to Tanzania, Kenya, or The Gambia next year, 2021. I would like to correspond with any Contractors or Engineering companies through email. Any networking would be helpful.
Welcome
Big up Dangote
Africa should use its human and natural resources wisely and develop. Relations with west and Asians shall be cooperative and supportive.
We need to see developed and peaceful Africa.
From Ethiopia

The truth is that America is the worst continent overall and in the future
We don’t want to be one country that’s just dishonest. We are to big of a people and too diverse to become one country we will never do that.

Thank God ooo for Nigeria that we have an hydroelectric power project on ground. At least there is hope for 24 hours electricity
Nigeria needs nuclear electric power for sufficient and sustainable energy
If the citizens are willing to pay the bills because i know is not free of charge, One thing i know Africans like free stuff
No be small
@@nimabarrie39 for sure na Nigerians will surely pay bills. I will be very happy paying my bills for 24 hours electricity not 12 hours

Nigeria's Eko Atlantic city is conspicuously missing out. Please update this list.
Bagamoyo project has been scrapped off due to its ambiguous and unthinkable conditions. Please do update your list.
Please try to listen very well. You didn't get it. 6:00
Bagamoyo project didn't complete due to mis*understand between Tanzania and China government
Great one to Nigeria!
Great projects but so so many haven’t been mansion, anyway Africa is in the rise and hopefully we will be proud one day to say we made it, yes we can. #Fixafrik
Eko Atlantic City, Lagos Nigeria, unfortunately didn't make the list...that too is a mega and audacious project ongoing in Africa richest country. It's a project, born out of the need to protect the Victoria Island from being overtaken by flood from the Atlantic ocean and later mutated into a whole new city project. Nice video compilations though. Good job, Africa.
It is more of a private project and would still take about 20yrs to be fully completed that is why it was not mentioned. The egypt new city is government owned and it is only taking 4yrs to be %90 completed and would cost 45B dollars why eko atlantic city would cost 12B dollars and would take almost 20yrs to be completed. That is the difference.
My beauty tanzania lovely looking nakupenda sana tanzania
@@kayycharm5532 okay so, have you been awarded for your stupidity? Its a very simple question that derives a simple answer...
Africa? No its done and payed by capital from the US, China, GB, EU, Russia, India and Brazil. Africa is no the continent of the future
And Abuja centenary city 🤦🏾♂️
oh my god!! kenya , that tech city blew me away. even the new egyptian capital. world class africa!! we should do away with visas in africa for africans. thatll unite us
Stephanie Ndonku why? 😡
@Stephanie Ndonku I am Arab Egyptian and we are 25% only of the population , other groups are Copts+ Amazigh +Nubians representing 60% of the population and they are Africans while remaining minorities are Turks +Kurds +south Europeans +Jewish so we are a multicultural society but we are Africans all of us because Egypt lies in Africa.
@Stephanie Ndonku and regarding the religion, Is there a specific religion for the African to be an African ?
Yes Africa needs to be visa free for Africans
konza technopolis kenya damn we are way ahead

Nigeria is a capital in African
we never give up kenya
Wow beautiful

Go Africa!
Hello from Egypt, this city that was shown in this video is not the capital of Egypt, which is being built now, but it has been shown, the city of El Alamein is one of the 14 decision cities established in Egypt.
2- thank you working this video
@LEILA NABZ Yes. it already introduced
Steel was first produced in Tanzania by the Haya people who live on the western shores of Lake Victoria, in north-west Tanzania. Steel was produced in three-metre high furnaces fired by blowing pre-heated air from a number of goatskin strapped wooden bellows some 900 years before steel of comparable quality was produced by Bessemer in the 19th century in Europe,
You forgot to state that the GERD was 100% funded by the people. 🇪🇹🇪🇹🇪🇹
Up 9ja great work
The continent is soo rich so am not surprised is long overdue
That new Egyptian capital had me shook. I mean they are building an entirely new capital. Good for their people tho.
trosky677 dear this new capital is built from the return of the lands sale by the government so no depts are taken
trosky677 yes we sold lands of desert for the embassy’s and international companies and with the return of the money we are building the infrastructure of the city, and when transferring all the governmental ministries buildings there we will transform our old buildings into international hotels , malls and museums and the estimated return of this transfer is about 70 billion us dollars, and with this money we are planning to get rid of the poor districts forever
Number 2 Egypt new capital!
The video they showed is for the New Alamein city not the new administrative capital!
There are many huge mega cities are being built now in Egypt. The new capital and the new Alamein city are two of them.
All these projects in the whole africa are being built combined in one single country pakistan.
Several hydropower stations. Gwadar port city. Ravi river front city. New Islamabad smart city, ML-1 stadard gauge 2000 KM rail line. Inter countries rail lines between iran pakistan turkey and between uzbekistan afghanistan and pakistan. ARAMCO oil refinery and petrochemicals plants.1400 KM gas pipeline from south to north. New optic fiber spread over all provinces. A network of motorways. Technology parks. Free economic industrial zones and many more.
we also got tatu city, and also Northlands city which are still under construction
proud of my country KENYA
Love form India 😻🤓
Eko atlantic city

I love Africa because ll Africa my cantory
But I wonder the Tanzanian standard gauge railway is missing while is twice bigger than the Kenya Standard Gauge.
Actually you forgot port of Lamu. It will be bigger than that of Mombasa.
Great presentation!

Konza technopolis is one big deal for the Eastern Africa community Kenya twasonga 🇰🇪🇰🇪🙏
its been over 6 years and still no sign of progress
I can’t tell if you’re being serious or not
HQ is complete, Data center complete, they’re currently doing horizontal infrastructure and smart city sensors and waste systems. There is no City in Kenya/ Africa that has been built in 7 years
@@stevewaves6776 Can you built a city in 5 years?
Waache hii konza project was promoted good housing in the slums.
Let’s go DR Congo 🇨🇩💪🏾
I'm surprised lappset project in kenya wasn't listed
I concur with you
The way the guy pronounces hydroelectric is so hilarious haha.....
Much love from Kenya, Africa is rising 👌
Africa will have energy coming out their ears....the world will be their oyster! Dang. Africa won’t be ignored by the rest of the world soon.
Eko Atlantic city lagos state nigeria and new millennium city Anambra state nigerian are the two African most beautiful and outstanding cities under construction in the whole Africa.
Can we not build anything on our own? Why must we always rely on Chinese or Turks or Europeans? We need to educate and train our people on a massive scale. We need to mass produce engineers and mathematicians and scientists etc. Let us build more universities!
Piman theiar head uses to put a hat not to think. Why naturalresurses gives to privet ?Unistead helping the poor peopel Nigeria. They are corapted.
Brush up on global economics. The Chinese provide some capital to lots of projects worldwide including developed world. They fund nuclear and high speed rail projects in Europe and some projects in US. In so doing they participate in the construction. The world is global.
Having educated people without capital won't make a difference in terms of infrastructure. Literally all countries are in debt. Debt isn't bad.. bad use of it is the issue.
The chinese before they can do it on their own relied from foreign capital, as well as the USA they learned from the british, and the british build their railways using foreign capital. that's how they became rich, attract foreign knowledge and capital first learn from them, then do it on your own
african firms some of are not reliable and take the money work slow sometimes did not finished the project with poor quality !need mentality change !in my country they made a mistake to gave local firm a project to built an university the money disappear !
Ethiopia 🇪🇹
This is splendid
dear narrator, you miss mentioning our mega project in Tanzania, "Nyerere Hydropower, standard gauge railway, kigogo Busisi Bridge
we are big, we are masters TANZANIA THE VAPERS .....
About time, we have been waiting four centuries for this know its going to be my people's turn FORWARD AFRICA......! . When Africa comes to be, don't forget to too through any small change you have spare too wards the African diaspora, were still suffering from the affects of the past we just need a boost not charity then we will do the rest.....! FORWARD AFRICA . Just don't get too fare into det, don't forget they could become another burden like the old European colonials.
Tz is always in the list.
They haven't shown other projects...
This video shows that Ghana’s leaders are just joking with not a single major project on going.
They were anglo raised everything anglos touch goes to shit
Huh?😂😂don’t be ungrateful cuz Ghana is doing alott
Not even one project from South Africa and we are suppose to be the richest nation in Africa.. this just shows how bad the corruption is in SA. Our beloved country is run by a 'mafia state' and no one is doing anything about it. It's quite sad.
Eish mf2
Nigeria is the richest in Africa
Oscars Design shut up as a Nigerian myself I know SA is the most developed in Africa and richest. Nigeria riches doesn’t reflect on the people!
You guys are rich because of the whites
Don’t worry bro you guys are still the most developed in Africa. One love from Naija!!

Come on DRC🇨🇩🇨🇩🇨🇩
Africa:its my time
Asia:let us introduce ourselves
Wow DRC it big
Very good
I knew Nigeria was going to be the first
Wooow Congo congratulations
We are going back to the top...remember my name!
The DRC is one of the richest countries in terms of natural resources in Africa. It has cooper, cobalt, zinc, coltan, cassiterite, gold, bauxite, diamond, oil, and gas. However, DRC is also one of the poorest countries in the world, because the Congolese people have seen little benefit from these immense natural resources, which have been exploited for many decades.
How many "If we build it they will come" speculative mega-projects are there in Africa? Where's the demand? Has there been any announcements by major tech/industrial cos to lease significant space? Please direct me to where I can find this information. Thx.
