Just discovered this concert. She is masterful. Black American music at its finest. Am listening to her in East Africa. A big loss indeed. May you RIP Denise.
I didn't know that she had passed away.may her soul rest in peace and we will never forget you we will always love you and your music.one of the best singers in the world.
Yes Yes Yes! Denise know she can put somebody in the groove. She's one of my favorites and all those songs she sang was my groove too back in the day. Wow those were the gold old days honey we used to cut a rug all night long until we fell out! Love you Denise
+Latasha Wright Well I'm doing great now just finished dancing off of some that 4th of July bbq & now I might have a sip of wine and listen to some Denise Lasalle & Shirley brown & Marvin Gaye, how was your day?
One thing about Denise Lachall was that she kept that Groove. She had that music that you could let your Swag show. By sliding side to side, going down and coming back up in slow motion. What I trying to say is that her music was easy to Dance to. I use to love “ Trapped By The Game Called Love”. That’s a Real Song. She was Underrated.
Dj mark says god blessed us with all our soul and blues singer. That gave us so much memories that will always stay in our hearts in this thing called life. May they rest in peace. 😀
Oh she's gone my mom" had that same swagg; wore the same wigs. That song she always sung. That era' is where she's from. Aww happy Heaven day "momma I love you. Thanks for making me yours..🌺💖🌺💋..RIP
Sleep well beautiful and talented Blues Queen, thank you for sharing your abundance of talents with us. We miss you, but you left us something to look back at and still enjoy, your music 🌅 💐 🙏🏽.
I had the honor of opening up for Denise Lasalle. I grew up listening to her and sung her song my first time performing in a club at 16 years old with R.L Burnside band. RIP to Denise and R.L.
In 1969 when these songs first came out I was just a small little girl, but as I grew into a young woman, and now a mature woman, I truly understand all of the songs, and played them when walking may be some of words to the songs. WOW it is a blessing, to have had such a great list of talented black women to help you when your heart felt full.
Sing Denise🔥🔥! Loved her. Yeah, this my groove too. Bring back so many precious memories! This my song right here. Back in Da day, I sang this song all the time. I sound good too LOL! Kudos to the band, they are off the chain! Rest in love Queen.
