  • A Catholic scholar says the author of the Gospel of John is definitely inventing things and being deceptive. Don't believe me?...watch the video to find out more.
Hugo Mendez is an Assistant Professor in Ancient Mediterranean Religions at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, specializing in the New Testament and its early reception. Hugo has sustained research interests in the #Gospel and #EpistlesofJohn and the reception of biblical texts, figures, and images in late antiquity.

Don't be deceived. #Trinitarian trolls online like to talk about how #Unitarians online have different views as if it's a bad thing.... Here is a perfect example of a trinitarian with views that are very much different compared to others of the same faith.
    Thanks for watching.

Great point Bart, Christianity will die if its members bury their heads on logic
    and reasoning 🙌🙌

With all of the data that we have today,
    Did Jesus spoke truth??

According to Jean Colson, a Catholic priest who published in 1968, 1) John the Beloved was a disciple, but not one of the 12, 2) so, not the Son of Zebedee, but 3) St. Irenaeus had left Asia Minor at an early age, ordained at just 16, and he mixed them up, while people who stayed in Asia Minor (less prominent than he or the Western tradition) didn't for some time.

2:09 He makes a pretty clear claim to be John the Beloved.

8:03 _"It's not going to fit into the lifetime of Jesus, or Jesus' own teachings"_
    Higher Criticism. A pseudoscience.

5:32 _"not the teachings in the Synoptic Gospels"_
    Remains to be substantiated.

5:42 See Matthew 22, when Jesus said King David had recognised Him as Lord (therefore as already existing when King David had his vision).

6:37 Baptism and Eucharist with indwelling of Holy Spirit and Jesus are in Acts. By Luke, author of a Synoptic Gospel.

7:40 The Synoptics may be less clear, but they are not contradicting and in some places clearly affirming.

What is logic, knowledge, and data as you have related them to Christianity and the Bible??
How is it possible to be a Christian without believing the Bible??
It can be noted that you do not ever make any reference to wisdom, in relation to the Bible, and the role that it plays in the understanding of it: you however, waxes warm, about logic: since the God of the Bible places so much emphasis on wisdom, for the understanding of the Bible, why should anyone listen to you??
Can you show, by evidence, that the God of Israel is wrong??
