I can do it on tatting needles but I've never been able to figure how to do it with the shuttle - split rings were no trouble, split chains totally boggled me. THANK YOU! I totally understand this now - you have very clear videos that showed exactly what I was missing
Las florecitas estan unidas porque son anillos divididos con dos lanzaderas, esa tecnica se explica en la leccion 11. Pero puedes practicar haciendo un medallon simple con anillos y cadenas, por ejemplo, anillo de 4-4-4-4, cadena de 4-4-4-4, repetir hasta tener 6 anillos unidos en una flor, y la ultima cadena es la que haces dividida.
first, check your tension. If you're tensing the stitches too much, it will be difficult for the ring to slice/close. A good thing is to check that the stitches slide after EACH stitch - it's a slow process but it will help you see the mistake and correct it before you try closing the entire ring. I want to make a picot between double stitches when doing the reverse side (typical) of the split chain to match the rest of the round in order to climb out of the round. I can't find this process anywhere.
