John Barry served up many good score's. Best film music composer to me. Sadly the better composers are all gone, just John Williams left at the age of 90, bless him, another great in film scoring.
Interesting detail: both John Barry and Danny Elfman started out in pop groups The John Barry Five and Oingo Boingo, respectively And Ennio Morriconne started out in jazz clubs in '40s and '50s Rome!
