I just found your channel and I cannot figure out your filming, editing, or general video style at all. Its cinematic, but casual, its dry, but funny, its basic, but also beautifully edited.... And I LOVE it. Not to mention just great content. Awesome videos, seriously
Beautiful stuff!!! So are we going to see any Neemor's long distance hiking down on one of the longer distance Patagonia trails? Like the Greater Patagonian Trail? Thanks for sharing the adventure.
I was in Arequipa in 1981. Did you go to Lake Titicaca? There are some awesome ruins east and west, also across the border into Bolivia. North of Arequipa check out Nazca. If your headed back to Lima by car there are many beautiful beaches to explore. So much to see with so little time, I want to go back soon. Beautiful country.
+Uncle Dev nope, not this time. I heard cool things about the lake though! Did you rent a car when you were there? I feel like driving there would be intense!
Rented a car in Arequipa to Lima. In 1981 there were fewer cars on the road. The beaches were fantastic. My flight started in Miami to Iquitos in the Amazon jungle. Flew to Lima to visit with friends. Flew to Arequipa. Flew to Julicaca and a taxi to Puno. Took the train from Puno to Cusco. Flew back to Arequipa. Rented a car back to Lima to be with friends. Went to Tarapoto, Pucallpa, Huanuco, Huáncayo, Ayacucho, Huaraz, Trujillo. Our last adventure was the Galapagos Islands. Trip lasted 6 months. At each destination we took tours, hiked or tried to rent a car and explore on our own. Highlights were 4 weeks down the Amazon River and stayed in a hut and visited with the Jivaro tribes. Fished ( My friend caught a 60lb Pirarucu, it was delicious), hiked 3 days in the jungle with a guide. Took a boat to the Equador and Columbian borders. In Lima we did the party thing at all the popular Discos. Remember this was 1981. I was 23 years old. LOL Arequipa was our base to explore Nazca ruins, the Colca Canyon, volcanos, and the beaches. Puno was our base for all the surrounding ruins of the Lake Titicaca and seeing the floating reed islands that have been constructed by the Uros people in the lake and into Bolivia. We spent over 2 months in Cusco saw almost everything. Inca Trail (Machu Picchu). Lots of hiking, drinking and getting sick. We got attitude sickness 3 times while we were there. Coca leaves in hot water tea worked great. Back in Arequipa to rent a car and explored the coast. Ica, Pisco and up rt. 1. Camped on the beach every night. There was just to much to put into text of everywhere we went. I can't even spell the names of some of the places we visited but they were absolutely beautiful and awe inspiring. The best national parks were Manu National Park. Huascaran National Park (freaking awesome place). Pacaya Samiria National Reserve to see the pink river dolphins. I could go on and on. Watching your video's on UA-cam has flooded my brain with memories. Your so lucky to be there, Take it all in and fill up all your memory cards. This was a trip of a lifetime for me and my friend. Peru is such a wonderful country. I want to go back soon. Oh the food there is the best!
+azcolby40 yup! There were parts with lots of tourists and some with very little. In Huaraz we only saw 10-12 tourists. The hike down into Colca was much steeper. The section we hiked was less elevation change then hiking a rim to rim of the GC and the distance was also much less. But I'm sure there are more technical routes.
If I never get to these places, I think you did them justice. I can't wait to where else you will go, then again it really doesn't matter, I'd follow along
I love watching your videos from a television because they are high definition and high production quality. But I will say this, ever since you started this new out of frame style of recording it's driving me insane not being able to see the subjects even on a 72 inch television LOL
Looked like a memorable place. Drinking citronella, flying like a condor with a guinea pig in your mouth after a swim in the dead pool. Did I see you pink blazing for a minute there ? Ha ha HA :
I once asked my uncle (who did missionary work in Chile and other areas of the world) what was the strangest thing he ever ate. His response was, "guinea pig." So, I've gotta ask,.. did you eat any?
kinda racist making fun of your guide's accent. he's doing ya'll a favor by sharing his knowledge and culture with you even after all gringos have done to his country. made me sad to see this neemor.
Repp a lent

You’ve made a really beautiful film here. Spectacular!
Awesome job man. Nice tails from the man who hikes trails. I really like the shots of the flora and fauna.
Definitely my favorite episode of the trip so far that eruption time-lapse was gnarly
Amazing tour!

+Backpacker Dad not this trip, but it's definitely on my mind now. 🤔
Neemor! Can you make a video talking about how you put this trip together? Planning, logistics, etc? That would be AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEE
+Jeff Vazquez that's a great idea! That's for the suggestion.
Setting that bar high.....that trip/ video will be hard to top. Awesome. Thank you!

Wow, now this is on my list of places to go soon! Thank you for this. What kind of sandals did you wear? How comfortable were they? They looked nice.
+Christine Whack hey! The sandals are the Bedrock classics. I like them a lot. They're really compact when they're in my pack and comfy on my feet.
Holy freaking cow that is beautiful. Thanks for taking us along to see those epic views! - Shane

Looks like the same trip my buddy and I did a few years back. The dead swimming pool was working then but didn't look very inviting. Thanks.
+yewboup1 nice! It looked gross, but we couldn't not swim. 😄
Who knew that so many tourists visit Peru. How did the hike down into that canyon compare to the Grand Canyon
