You are doing a great job Danny! I have one question, we have multiple DCs running Windows Server 2019. However, the domain functional level is still 2008 R2, is it safe to raise it to Windows Server 2016 Functional Level considering that I still have member servers running Windows Server 2003 and 2008 R2?
As long as all of your domain controllers are at least server 2016, then you can upgrade the forest functional level to 2016. It's only domain controllers that matter. Member servers have no impact on the functional level. The below Microsoft article shows which domain controller operation systems support which functional level, and the first paragraph mentions that member servers have no impact. learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/identity/ad-ds/active-directory-functional-levels Thanks for watching!
If you are raising the functional levels to Windows Server 2016, then as long as your domain controllers are running atleast Windows Server 2016, you shouldn't have any issues. learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/identity/ad-ds/active-directory-functional-levels Thanks for watching!

Thank you what if my member servers are 2022 and my DC only 2016 would that be an issue?
Member servers and workstations can be running any operating system version. It only matters for domain controllers.
