As someone who has no interest in Lucky Chloe whatsoever it's just really cool to see the oddball characters get picked and completely wash the more common ones.
I hate Chloe but I love her, I like the idea make a character for 'bitches'. Like no way are you meant to like this character with THIS gameplay. Gameplay fun tho try her 🏴❤️😎
You can tell TMM was frustrated near the end. He was missing punishments and fell for several things that he has done well against before. Tough match to be honest. As he said, knowledge checks. GG to Kaizur and TMM.
@@Shibu_PL This game has so many characters and each of them is really complex. Moreover, Lucky Chloe is just one of those rare characters you encounter once a year or so. TMM had no chance of knowing the matchup. Same goes for top players, they don't know every single matchup in the game
8:00 TMM calls it BS I call it big brain plays, he did the double flip and low crushed TMM mashing wakeup3 and that was Oki from his jump over at the wall
Big props to Kaizur. He put in the work and just has the talent for Tekken. Unfortunately I heard in one of his streams that he is going to focus more on building a successful stream instead of trying to become a pro Tekken. As he stated and someone else like Lil Majin has before, the financial reward is just not there to pursue being a Tekken pro. I hope that changes someday.
Kaizur's a real chill dude and he ultimately plays with the mentality that I can only describe as "...fuck it" it's why he's hit some of the most random backswing blows ever, he'll clip you outta no where with the weeb slide, he genuinely just loves playing the game and he just plays with the ultimate party mentality which, for LC, is perfect.
The moment you notice that backswing is launch punishable and not 1 single punish for that Means he isn't doing it to unga bunga and he was reading and predicting his opponent
Kaizur is a free spirit. You gotta not play how you normally do to win. It's almost a mixup after another mixup; if he thinks he can crush your highs or jumps over your low or if he's at a certain by the wall expect armor moves as well. If he's -4- -8, you have to always watch out for that backswing. I would recommend going into practice mode and pick lucky chloe and have your recorded computer be your main. Do your normal things on hit and see if Lucky Chloe can backswing blow it. I had to do this for Ling's Running 3 into AOP bc my AOP4 will get backswing blown, so i look for my other options that can kill that. I'm just a scrub that lives in his state; he terrorizes our locals all the time :P I also like to jump backwards at a certain range to deal with yeetsweep. The jump will go over the first and I will usually have time to land and block the 2nd one. It's tough, but you can't play your normal tekken against chloe is what I've concluded, playing Kaizur.

The 2nd set/game. Kaizur only did one dash I believe - a backdash, if you exclude him running up for oki. He barely move at all, he just uses buttons. It's like watching someone on initiate play.
Lucky Chloe is Eddy on steroids! She is annoying but her damage output is ridiculous. I see why someone would want to use her. This was a fun match to watch.

He wasn't salty. He lost at something he wanted to win very badly and took a competitive L so he expressed a lack of happiness but "salty" is just side line, instigator, internet talk.
KWiss gave respect where it was due. Kaizur's throw break harassment, wr3+4, and back swing placement are all terrifyingly effective. Especially in a tournament setting.
K-wiss wasn't that salty. He had a few moments of salt, but overall felt like Kaizer played well and he had an off day. He handled it way better than most people do when they lose to a LC. He did say he could probably beat Arslan in the breakdown video though of him getting beat by Kaizer tho, so I gotta call BS when I see it.
That backsway move is a crime against humanity. The fact you can be in a majorly advantageous position and then get launched by that move? That has to undermine a player's confidence something fierce having to face that. Credit to Kaizur though, his ability to read his opponents and his sense of risk vs reward is terrifyingly good.
That's what evasive moves do in fighting games. You can absolutely be +3, but you have to keep in mind your opponent's options: some characters have to respect you, others don't

Third time watching this video in the span of a year. I picked her up after my friend picked her up after first starting. He'll only play her and Negan and it always perplexed me why he was so into this character. In my experiences the fun comes from watching how the other player dances w/ Chloe. Which is why I like this video. TMM 100% can't dance.
The main man love your videos and your funny personality, but I need help with Chloe as well, I was wondering what is the use of the backswing I am in orange ranks as a totally blind fighter with Chloe and her mixups help me along the way
If she ddnt do that much damage d character would be completely horrible. If TMM knows d LC matchup he would have launch punished most of what kaizur was doing. And if kaizur realise TMM does know d matchup he won't be throwing out those risky moves willy nilly
Not to be the new guy in town or anything, but new to Tekken, and fighting games in general honestly. What does he mean by saying, "what is her backswing? Minus 14?" Emphasis on the minus. Is that referring to the initial back step and how many frames her character backs off, and I assume that's moveset and char specific as to how much "minus" exists? Great video by the way. Chloe's moveset and the animations drew me into the game along with friends playing fighting games constantly and me being trash! All
Here Arslan loses a ft5 against an op Lucky Chloe. Kaizur is really good but the guy down there is really godlike. Well imo Lucky Chloe isnt that weak as everyone says, anything she does lunches and does tons of damage, good pokes even to interrupt dance stance, also one of the strongest powercrushes in the game is her imo like the b1+2 safe on block that also wall splats or also the bd1 wall bounce Blaming knowledge TMM, youre right about that, you miss that against Lucky Chloe, but Arslan I belive have much knowledge... im saying it proofs that this Tekken is so balanced and tierlists are bs lmao Here Arslan loosing against a Lucky Chloe in ft5: ua-cam.com/video/zk49Koij7QI/v-deo.html Would be interesting to see you react this video
How can TMM rate a character when he barely knows anything about them and how to deal with the character... It just shows how he has no idea what he's talking about when It's with characters he doesn't play much or at all.
When he wasn't a full time streamer his main excuse was "oh, koreans know all matchups because they can afford playing the game for 8+ hours a day". Now, It's been a couple of years since he plays Tekken 7 for a living and whenever he plays vs any female/evasive character he still cries because he doesn't know the matchup... I mean, how hard it is for him to ask someone during his stream to teach him how to defend vs certain characters? People would be happy to play vs him on stream. But I guess it's easier to just cherry pick your opponents and only play vs mishimas, bryans, armor kings etc. and then complain that T7 is impossible to learn because "too many characters and not enough time" excuse.
I don't get tmm. He says she doesn't have good attacks and frames so she is low tier. But clearly she has great moves. I also think she has equally good 50-50 as everyone.
Idk, for me as former soul calibur player(every single entry before 6) this backswing blow looks like a very strong move, if not one of the best, utilizing it would feel natural. in soul calibur everybody has lots of range, so players pay much more attention to utility of moves like step back and and then attack, these moves are always very strong, always, no exception i am not sure, but to me, it looks like maybe the best launcher in the game, you dont even have to press block, you just attack, and in soul calibur pretty much every character has at least one move like that i wouldnt even be surprised if kaizur is a former soul calibur player, but i am surprised that tier list says chloe has no op moves
also, it feels like tekken players focus on anything but utilizing range to its full potential, like hitting at the very edge of the hitbox, because they have to be closer anyway to land a combo, so thats why maybe they dont care about these small step moves as much i looked into chloe gameplay more, i still believe its one of the best launchers in tekken

in soul calibur everybody has lots of range, so players pay much more attention to utility of moves like step back and and then attack, these moves are always very strong, always, no exception

also, it feels like tekken players focus on anything but utilizing range to its full potential, like hitting at the very edge of the hitbox, because they have to be closer anyway to land a combo, so thats why maybe they dont care about these small step moves as much
