I absolutely loved my bottle of Ajwad. It was a total compliment-getter! at first, it definitely has a metallic/alcoholic opening note. It settles into a basket of berries and dries down to a pure floral vanilla scent. It lasted me throughout the day pretty well

I felt the same about AJWAD. I’m almost at the point I may give her away. I’m trying to hold on to her to see if the scent will change. The package and bottle is absolutely stunning on my vanity.
Keep it in the back of your closet or dark space. It is going to smell so good! I hated mine when I got it but I let it sit in the back of my closet for about 2 months and mannn IT SMELLL SO GORGEOUS!!!
Love you Simin, and love your reviews. However I love Lattafa Ajwad as well 🤪. Can't detect any metallic note in it, but I did let it sit for a couple of months
Mine is being sitting for over three months and still smells repulsive to me, I wonder if it has to do with different batches.I really wanted to like it but I’m embarrassed to wear it out, I guess I’ll stick to my Mancera’s Roses Vanille.
I have the OG Ajwad and i love it, i do not smell a metallic scent. Perfume is subjective and individual . I'd say smell it for yourself. Please don't not like it or try it only because the reviwer didn't like it. Please make your own decision. To each his own
I love Ajwad Pink 😍 it reminds me of Oud Maracuja by Maison Crivelli but the juicier and fruitier sister. On my skin , I’m definitely pulling Oud… weird that it’s not listed. The OG Ajwad was repulsive to me as it was extremely metallic 😩
I have ajwad and I really really love it. The metallic note does not bother me at all. Although I will say sweet fruity spicy accords are my fav in perfumes.
I love Ajwad! At first it smelled of alcohol and metal - I sprayed it a few times and left it for a week or 2 and the smell totally changed! I get a lot of nice compliments wearing it and the scent easily lasts long. Since the price is nice I've made it my everyday fragrance :)
It's ok to have a negative review. It's not done in a distasteful way. Not everyone likes everything that's OK. I like that you say why you don't like it and what it reminds you of. And we learn a lot about you and your culture, so thank you ❤
I agree with you 💯. Ajwad smells so bad. Nothing like Roses vanille which I have and love so much. For those looking for a good Roses Vanille dupe try Vanilla and Roses by Emir. Its so so so similar and smells amazing just lighter. Roses vanille is denser
I’ve always been curious about this fragrance, not the pink to pink, but the original because I see it pop up in my feed all the time. So I’m very glad that you reviewed it. And I don’t understand what it is in the ingredients that makes a perfume smell metallic, but I have experienced that with some Dua perfumes as well. Also, if you don’t want to use them as perfumes, you can pop the top of them and use them as a room scent by adding some reeds into them so that you can use them as a reed diffuser.

I have both, when I purchased the Ajwad OG, I couldn't get past the metallic note. I've had it for over a year, and that has calmed down immensely, still ozonic, but way better. I have no idea what the Ramadan Salad is, but it sounds delicious 😋 you made a great point about what is common, the nothing special. I've never smelled a fragrance like Ajwad Pink before. I just got Pink to Pink 2 days ago and we are having a late summer in Tasmania so it is perfect, I love this perfume and the dry down was a real surprise to me as it is almost dark or slightly animalic yet because of the fruits and floras it is such an interesting perfume, it lasts a good while. Got a compliment as soon as I walked outside to our letterbox from someone walking their dog 😅. To me it is just as you said completely new and special. I have nothing like it in my perfume wardrobe. Ajwad was unfortunately my very first Middle Eastern scent and honeyyyyy.. talk about instant scrubber.. made me sooo nauseous. Ajwad NEVER got any better for me. That metal scent just never went away. But them I showed to my friend and she never smelled the metal. She loved it so I gave it to her.
I wish you were in US. You could make my day and gift ajwad to me. It is one of my number one favorites from lattafa. I wonder if it smells different on different skin chemistry. It smells fantastic on me and my sister wasn’t as impressed. Or maybe it has been reformulated, or maybe it hasn’t macerated yet. Who knows… I’m not offended. Its ok. More ajwad for me. I've been watching your videos for some time now and have mostly agreed with all your recommendations...but i do have to strongly disagree with this one! Ajwad is a unique scent! Is either u love or hate it! I believe its a matter of preference and the individual's personality!

Thats why everyone must try things for themselves. Not everyone has the same taste. I've tried both, but the first is not bad, like the reviewer says, in my opinion. It's pleasant. There is certainly a stretch here, lol. Not everything is for everyone, and that's okay. The pink one is beautiful.
I read on Fragantica that when Ajwad is layered with libre by YSL, the metallic scent fades almost completely. I might try that because I can’t handle that smell.

I loveee the pink to pink version! It smells like a fruitier guava version of hibiscus mahajad by maison crivelli to me! You definitely have to like guava to appreciate this fragrance though as the note is very prominent!
I agree with you absolutely. I will let it sit for sometime and hope the guava reduces in intensity. Right now, it is wayyyy to potent to me ❤ I just feel the notes balance is off as well. I will see Pink to Pink in 3 months lol
I have the same reaction to the OG Ajwad...I can't stand it. I get the metallic note which overpowers everything as I can't smell any other notes. I made the same face when I smelt it 😂. Its performance is good though, to my dismay I could still smell it long after after scrubbing it off my wrist. The bottle is beautiful though and I felt like I was catfished as well.
So strange! I honestly LOVE Ajwaad, but then again, I never really got that metallic or powdery accord folks mention. I get fruity, rosey and plenty of cinnamon spice. Quite odd.. good/honest review as always tho😊

It’s so sharp and sour I don’t even know what it’s supposed to be. I can’t spray it on my body, it doesn’t smell good. Your review is on point as usual. It’s a decoration on the shelf.
Thanks for reviewing this one! I bought it because it was a favorite of thecherystv (I think that’s her name), and when I first sprayed it, it was atrocious. Then I wore it to bed one night a few months after first sniff, and became nauseated. It was on my chopping block (the ONLY one out of my way-too-extensive collection that I literally cannot stomach, and that says a LOT because I am quite tolerant and have never gotten rid of anything), but… I remembered A Fragrant Glance saying that it was such a chameleon and changes completely with age, so I will leave it. Just re-sniffed it while watching your video (I’m a month or two out of the nausea episode), and it smells like it miiiiiight be evolving 🤔 🤞

You made me laugh, you’re so funny. 🤣 I smell metal in Ajwad and I thought it’s because the bottle is metallic. This fragrance smells amazing on my friend, also I got compliments but it’s strong and lasts all day. This metallic not disappears later. I personally don’t like roses vanilla alone but I mix it with Al Rehab Choco Musk and than it’s amazing. Also Ajwad with Nebras or Choco Musk is much better.

Hi sim, let it sit for some time. My first reaction was also same. Strong metalic note but after 1-2 month it became beautiful. U will not believe i hv finised full bottle nd today only i hv opened new one. And today i hv recd 4-5 Compliments. And sold one Ajwad based on my SOTD 😂. Trust me dont sell it give some time. Pink to pink is not as per my expectation let is sit again 😂❤❤❤
No Sim, tell us how you REALLY feel about Ajwad, the original. 😂 I detested the original Ajwad for all of the reasons you outlined. It is migraine inducing and I couldn't get past the metallic note. I do however really like Pink to Pink! Granted, it is a guava bomb, but I think it's a fun fruity fragrance! And I have no Ramadan comparisons to make. Thanks for the highly entertaining take on these two fragrances!

Heyyyyy my Hun ❤❤❤ It was always the bottle that appealed to me but the notes did not. I refrained from buying it for so long. If it were not for Pink to Pink, I would have never set my nose on this monstrosity of a perfume lol. I will still save it for 3 months and see how it goes. Hi my beautiful hun, oh you made me laugh and my day started wonderfully watching you with this review. It is housework day and I am having a bad flare of fibro so this video came for me at perfect timing. I also went outside to feed the birds and our baby, Pademelon, called Paddy Bub was there in our back garden, I went and gave him half of my banana ( I was about to have breakfast) and this was the first time ever he walked right up to me to get the treat. He is such a darling, so now I had my great moments and it is time to start the housework, no matter how I feel. I can do it 😅. We are meant to going into another heatwave with 36 C on the weekend. Now as far as Ajwad is concerned I am so glad I never bought it, I read some positive reviews but felt something was not for me however I had a special offer from my perfume shop and they sold me Ajwad Pink to Pink for such a great price and yep, I snapped it up and it arrived and I actually love it. Mind you I have never smelled the fast breaking fruit salad and I totally understand why you would not want to smell like this. However, some people said it has a gasoline blast and stinks, well to my nose is reminds me ( the opening) of AMETHYST as I can smell some leather and the sharp , sour note of citrus and my beloved pink pepper and then it becomes magical on my skin. I can smell some really nice florals ( the rose, magnolia , which I adore, peony) and the true darker side of this perfume starts appearing about 25 to 40 minutes with the wonderful leather note, the musk of course was there present but gets more musky almost slightly animalic on my skin ( in a good sort of way, sensuous ) , the ambergris and moss start doing this sort of dance with the other notes and the vanilla is also there but on me it is the dry down combination that has me under a spell. I went out to the letter box and a lady was walking her dog, she said hello as she walked past , and then turned around and said "Oh my goodness, you smell incredible, what are you wearing? " & she mentioned she had never smelled a perfume like this and it smelled exotic ( so there is the quirky and exotic you mentioned) which was a first for me ( being at the letterbox and being stopped, not the compliment about a perfume 🤣) so that made my day yesterday. Gerry came home ( I had a shower , about 40 minutes before with my oud and flowers shower gel and used my oud and flowers body lotion which I buy in Oz but it is made in Dubai) and had put on Pink after all this, and he said I smelled incredible. So fruit salad is a favourite . I do not mind smelling like a fruit salad as long as it has this divine darkish dry down. 😁😅. I promise I won't wear it when you come to visit one day so you won't need to smell this on me 😀. I love the bottle and the pattern sort of reminded me of our First Nation's art, perhaps the colour of the red earth of the outback. So for me this perfume is a 10 out 10 especially on a warm day. So once again we see how our memories shape what we love to wear or would hate to wear. I have been reading comments about this perfume on some sites and they really hate it and say the gasoline smell is so bad , I was careful when I got it and sprayed it 3 times or so into an empty room , loved what I smelled , then walked back in about 40 minutes later and thought what is this? As it somehow changed, so then I sprayed it and that was it. It stays on my clothes even though I did not spray it there but it is the dry down that you can smell or I can smell on my clothes. My beautiful angel, this was one of my favourite videos ever as I really want to watch your expression again for the OG Ajwad, this must be the first 0 rating for you, or did I miss one? OG Ajwad was the first that ever got such a low rating from me. It is just unacceptable as a perfume. I know there are a few out there who like it and their experience is completely different from ours. They smell nothing metallic. So I wonder if it was a different formulation before? I am sure there is an explanation for this. Coz mine is Stinky Metal and Sweet Rose. Wuuckkhhhh! It's crazy how subjective smell is. I have 15 Arab perfumes in my collection and the original Ajwad is my favorite. The smell is so beautiful on me and I get compliments upon compliments whenever I wear it. It lasts very long on me as well. I was shocked at how much you disliked it. 😂😂

Perfume is very subjective. I actually like the original Ajwad. Just because the reviewer doesn't like it does not mean it smells bad. It's just her opinion. You should really smell it for yourself and not go by what she says, make your own judgement.
Funny enough I have the opposite reaction. I love the original and hate the pink to pink. It gives me the throw up vibe. also the original ajwad needs to sit for a month or two for the scent to develop

I was literally just thinking when you will review Pink to Pink and I opened UA-cam and your video was the first thing! My experience with the OG Ajwad was exactlyyy as you described! The metallic note was disgusting and the sickly sweet fruity note was just migraine inducing 🤢 I have let mine sit for about a couple months and now the metallic note and the sweetness is very faint and smells more like a creamy rose with vanilla but it’s still there so I haven’t dared to put it on myself just yet, but I will let it sit for some more and see! Was waiting for your review on Pink to Pink hoping it would be something nicer than the original, but I’d rather not smell like fruit chaat/salad 😅

I have Paris corner Emir line Vanilla and Roses and also have Roses Vanille by Mancera and i think they are damn close!! I love them both. Only difference is that Vanilla and Roses is lighter and airy while Rises Vanille is dense..However the emir one doesnt have as strong longevity and projection as Mancera one but stull very decent.
I agree with you on Ajwad..My goodness! I have Roses Vanille and i love it and since it's expensive I was happy to get my hands on a dupe...what?!! It's horrible. Thank God i found Vanilla and Roses by Paris corner- Emir line. Smells just like Roses Vanille but is lighter and airy while the OG is denser.. Thats my opinion anyway.
I left my Ajwad in the shelf for almost 8 months and I just went back to it after watching this. And yes, it's still metallic. Lol But perhaps Lahdath is the successful attempt of copying Roses Vanille. 😆
Can you recommend a sweet, candied rose scent that’s similar to Lancôme Parfait de Roses or Musicology The Rose? I think Swiss Arabian Crystal Rose may have been what I was looking for, but it’s discontinued 😢

Interesting, I think your association to Pink to Pink is to a food you eat and don’t really like. I think it’s similar to people who didn’t grow up eating Parmesan cheese and only associate the scent with feet and not a delicious meal. As for original Ajwad, many US reviewers love it but say it needs 2 months maceration.

Hi Sim ....I have to agree and ajwad was on my list for months ..I realy do not like it ... I could smell a fake mentalic , cloying and very poor ., the rose smells like its been rotting. ..almost gummy .. The bottle was leaking and cap was marked & I suspect it was returned and then re sold ..however at least I can re claim the money I wasted .. 0 out of 10 ... Strange, because my friend loves it😮😢
I hate the smell of pink to pink! I gave the bottle away! It smells like bug spray to me, maybe it's the guava. I have the original, and I let it sit before wearing, and I get ton of compliments when I wear it. But this one is the worse for me.

Mine is being sitting for over three months and still smells repulsive to me, I wonder if it has to do with different batches.I really wanted to like it but I’m embarrassed to wear it out, I guess I’ll stick to my Mancera’s Roses Vanille.
I have the OG Ajwad and i love it, i do not smell a metallic scent. Perfume is subjective and individual . I'd say smell it for yourself. Please don't not like it or try it only because the reviwer didn't like it. Please make your own decision. To each his own
I love Ajwad Pink 😍 it reminds me of Oud Maracuja by Maison Crivelli but the juicier and fruitier sister. On my skin , I’m definitely pulling Oud… weird that it’s not listed. The OG Ajwad was repulsive to me as it was extremely metallic 😩

I have ajwad and I really really love it. The metallic note does not bother me at all. Although I will say sweet fruity spicy accords are my fav in perfumes.

I love Ajwad! At first it smelled of alcohol and metal - I sprayed it a few times and left it for a week or 2 and the smell totally changed! I get a lot of nice compliments wearing it and the scent easily lasts long. Since the price is nice I've made it my everyday fragrance :)
It's ok to have a negative review. It's not done in a distasteful way. Not everyone likes everything that's OK. I like that you say why you don't like it and what it reminds you of. And we learn a lot about you and your culture, so thank you ❤

For those looking for a good Roses Vanille dupe try Vanilla and Roses by Emir. Its so so so similar and smells amazing just lighter. Roses vanille is denser
I’ve always been curious about this fragrance, not the pink to pink, but the original because I see it pop up in my feed all the time. So I’m very glad that you reviewed it. And I don’t understand what it is in the ingredients that makes a perfume smell metallic, but I have experienced that with some Dua perfumes as well. Also, if you don’t want to use them as perfumes, you can pop the top of them and use them as a room scent by adding some reeds into them so that you can use them as a reed diffuser.

I just got Pink to Pink 2 days ago and we are having a late summer in Tasmania so it is perfect, I love this perfume and the dry down was a real surprise to me as it is almost dark or slightly animalic yet because of the fruits and floras it is such an interesting perfume, it lasts a good while. Got a compliment as soon as I walked outside to our letterbox from someone walking their dog 😅. To me it is just as you said completely new and special. I have nothing like it in my perfume wardrobe. 🎯 You NAILED it. Ajwad was unfortunately my very first Middle Eastern scent and honeyyyyy.. talk about instant scrubber.. made me sooo nauseous. It almost had that metallic blood scent mixed with rancid roses and gasoline. 🫠🥴 a VERRRY failed attempt at Roses Vanille. Yikes!!

Ajwad NEVER got any better for me. That metal scent just never went away. But them I showed to my friend and she never smelled the metal. She loved it so I gave it to her.

I wish you were in US. You could make my day and gift ajwad to me. It is one of my number one favorites from lattafa. I wonder if it smells different on different skin chemistry. It smells fantastic on me and my sister wasn’t as impressed. Or maybe it has been reformulated, or maybe it hasn’t macerated yet. Who knows… I’m not offended. Its ok. More ajwad for me. It is like opening a suitcase full of piggy banks of pennies and scented dolls and leaking body sprays. Reminds me of childhood. Keep pink to pink tho….. lol

Thats why everyone must try things for themselves. Not everyone has the same taste. I've tried both, but the first is not bad, like the reviewer says, in my opinion. It's pleasant. There is certainly a stretch here, lol. Not everything is for everyone, and that's okay. The pink one is beautiful.
I read on Fragantica that when Ajwad is layered with libre by YSL, the metallic scent fades almost completely.

I loveee the pink to pink version! It smells like a fruitier guava version of hibiscus mahajad by maison crivelli to me! You definitely have to like guava to appreciate this fragrance though as the note is very prominent!
I agree with you absolutely. I will let it sit for sometime and hope the guava reduces in intensity. Right now, it is wayyyy to potent to me ❤ I just feel the notes balance is off as well. I will see Pink to Pink in 3 months lol

I have the same reaction to the OG Ajwad...I can't stand it. I get the metallic note which overpowers everything as I can't smell any other notes. I made the same face when I smelt it 😂. Its performance is good though, to my dismay I could still smell it long after after scrubbing it off my wrist. The bottle is beautiful though and I felt like I was catfished as well.
So strange! I honestly LOVE Ajwaad, but then again, I never really got that metallic or powdery accord folks mention. I get fruity, rosey and plenty of cinnamon spice. Quite odd.. good/honest review as always tho😊

Thanks for reviewing this one! I bought it because it was a favorite of thecherystv (I think that’s her name), and when I first sprayed it, it was atrocious. Then I wore it to bed one night a few months after first sniff, and became nauseated. It was on my chopping block (the ONLY one out of my way-too-extensive collection that I literally cannot stomach, and that says a LOT because I am quite tolerant and have never gotten rid of anything), but… I remembered A Fragrant Glance saying that it was such a chameleon and changes completely with age, so I will leave it. Just re-sniffed it while watching your video (I’m a month or two out of the nausea episode), and it smells like it miiiiiight be evolving 🤔 🤞

You made me laugh, you’re so funny. 🤣 I smell metal in Ajwad and I thought it’s because the bottle is metallic. This fragrance smells amazing on my friend, also I got compliments but it’s strong and lasts all day. This metallic not disappears later. I personally don’t like roses vanilla alone but I mix it with Al Rehab Choco Musk and than it’s amazing. Also Ajwad with Nebras or Choco Musk is much better.

Hi sim, let it sit for some time. My first reaction was also same. Strong metalic note but after 1-2 month it became beautiful. U will not believe i hv finised full bottle nd today only i hv opened new one. And today i hv recd 4-5 Compliments. And sold one Ajwad based on my SOTD 😂. Trust me dont sell it give some time. Pink to pink is not as per my expectation let is sit again 😂❤❤❤
No Sim, tell us how you REALLY feel about Ajwad, the original. 😂 I detested the original Ajwad for all of the reasons you outlined. It is migraine inducing and I couldn't get past the metallic note. I do however really like Pink to Pink! Granted, it is a guava bomb, but I think it's a fun fruity fragrance! And I have no Ramadan comparisons to make. Thanks for the highly entertaining take on these two fragrances!

It was always the bottle that appealed to me but the notes did not. I refrained from buying it for so long. If it were not for Pink to Pink, I would have never set my nose on this monstrosity of a perfume lol.

Hi my beautiful hun, oh you made me laugh and my day started wonderfully watching you with this review. It is housework day and I am having a bad flare of fibro so this video came for me at perfect timing. I also went outside to feed the birds and our baby, Pademelon, called Paddy Bub was there in our back garden, I went and gave him half of my banana ( I was about to have breakfast) and this was the first time ever he walked right up to me to get the treat. He is such a darling, so now I had my great moments and it is time to start the housework, no matter how I feel. I can do it 😅. We are meant to going into another heatwave with 36 C on the weekend. Now as far as Ajwad is concerned I am so glad I never bought it, I read some positive reviews but felt something was not for me however I had a special offer from my perfume shop and they sold me Ajwad Pink to Pink for such a great price and yep, I snapped it up and it arrived and I actually love it. Mind you I have never smelled the fast breaking fruit salad and I totally understand why you would not want to smell like this. However, some people said it has a gasoline blast and stinks, well to my nose is reminds me ( the opening) of AMETHYST as I can smell some leather and the sharp , sour note of citrus and my beloved pink pepper and then it becomes magical on my skin. I can smell some really nice florals ( the rose, magnolia , which I adore, peony) and the true darker side of this perfume starts appearing about 25 to 40 minutes with the wonderful leather note, the musk of course was there present but gets more musky almost slightly animalic on my skin ( in a good sort of way, sensuous ) , the ambergris and moss start doing this sort of dance with the other notes and the vanilla is also there but on me it is the dry down combination that has me under a spell. I went out to the letter box and a lady was walking her dog, she said hello as she walked past , and then turned around and said "Oh my goodness, you smell incredible, what are you wearing? " & she mentioned she had never smelled a perfume like this and it smelled exotic ( so there is the quirky and exotic you mentioned) which was a first for me ( being at the letterbox and being stopped, not the compliment about a perfume 🤣) so that made my day yesterday. Gerry came home ( I had a shower , about 40 minutes before with my oud and flowers shower gel and used my oud and flowers body lotion which I buy in Oz but it is made in Dubai) and had put on Pink after all this, and he said I smelled incredible. So fruit salad is a favourite . I do not mind smelling like a fruit salad as long as it has this divine darkish dry down. 😁😅. I promise I won't wear it when you come to visit one day so you won't need to smell this on me 😀. I love the bottle and the pattern sort of reminded me of our First Nation's art, perhaps the colour of the red earth of the outback. So for me this perfume is a 10 out 10 especially on a warm day. So once again we see how our memories shape what we love to wear or would hate to wear. I have been reading comments about this perfume on some sites and they really hate it and say the gasoline smell is so bad , I was careful when I got it and sprayed it 3 times or so into an empty room , loved what I smelled , then walked back in about 40 minutes later and thought what is this? As it somehow changed, so then I sprayed it and that was it. It stays on my clothes even though I did not spray it there but it is the dry down that you can smell or I can smell on my clothes. My beautiful angel, this was one of my favourite videos ever as I really want to watch your expression again for the OG Ajwad, this must be the first 0 rating for you, or did I miss one? OG Ajwad was the first that ever got such a low rating from me. It is just unacceptable as a perfume. I know there are a few out there who like it and their experience is completely different from ours. They smell nothing metallic. So I wonder if it was a different formulation before? I am sure there is an explanation for this. Coz mine is Stinky Metal and Sweet Rose. Wuuckkhhhh!

It's crazy how subjective smell is. I have 15 Arab perfumes in my collection and the original Ajwad is my favorite. The smell is so beautiful on me and I get compliments upon compliments whenever I wear it. It lasts very long on me as well. I was shocked at how much you disliked it. 😂😂

Perfume is very subjective. I actually like the original Ajwad. Just because the reviewer doesn't like it does not mean it smells bad. It's just her opinion. You should really smell it for yourself and not go by what she says, make your own judgement.

The metallic note was disgusting and the sickly sweet fruity note was just migraine inducing 🤢 I have let mine sit for about a couple months and now the metallic note and the sweetness is very faint and smells more like a creamy rose with vanilla but it’s still there so I haven’t dared to put it on myself just yet, but I will let it sit for some more and see! Was waiting for your review on Pink to Pink hoping it would be something nicer than the original, but I’d rather not smell like fruit chaat/salad 😅

Lattafa lahdath is supposed to be a closer dupe, I haven’t tried it yet but I’ve heard a lot about it.
Swiss Arabian Crystal Rose is the closest I’ve smelled
I have Paris corner Emir line Vanilla and Roses and also have Roses Vanille by Mancera and i think they are damn close!! I love them both. Only difference is that Vanilla and Roses is lighter and airy while Rises Vanille is dense..However the emir one doesnt have as strong longevity and projection as Mancera one but stull very decent.
I agree with you on Ajwad..My goodness! I have Roses Vanille and i love it and since it's expensive I was happy to get my hands on a dupe...what?!! It's horrible.

It does have a metallic smell on some persons and unfortunately I smelled that note on myself.

Interesting, I think your association to Pink to Pink is to a food you eat and don’t really like. I think it’s similar to people who didn’t grow up eating Parmesan cheese and only associate the scent with feet and not a delicious meal. As for original Ajwad, many US reviewers love it but say it needs 2 months maceration.

Hi Sim ....I have to agree and ajwad was on my list for months
..I realy do not like it ... I could smell a fake mentalic , cloying and very poor ., the rose smells like its been rotting. ..almost gummy ..
The bottle was leaking and cap was marked & I suspect it was returned and then re sold ..however at least I can re claim the money I wasted ..

I hate the smell of pink to pink! I gave the bottle away! It smells like bug spray to me, maybe it's the guava. I have the original, and I let it sit before wearing, and I get ton of compliments when I wear it. But this one is the worse for me.

I'm listening to your review and that's so hilarious, I just blind bough Ajwad and indeed it smells metalic and picklish and overly sweet in the background but thats' exactly what makes it so amazing to my taste, haha! Anyway, gave a follow, thank you for your work!
