I actually saw this Sun Halo ( ring around the sun ) like 5-6 months back , and our teachers told that it is an optical phenomenon that happens every 400 years .
I knew immediately why it showed that. However, I can tell you this right now: you don't need to find shelter asap. These in most cases show up 24-48 hours before the actual storm arrives, assuming it even hits you. Now, in some cases, it may arrive up to 8-12 hours before it, but even assuming that, you don't need to find shelter asap.
I know this is late, I've seen some pretty big wall clouds, directly AFTER a tornado, surprisingly, we were at a shelter at a school and once we were out onto the bus, they told us to not touch the windows, in case lightning strikes. I looked out the window for a sec and there was a weird cloud. "Huh thats weird." And it went on for I think 3 crop fields, later I heard my friend's dad saw it too.

Thats the weird things that we also talked about before the accident happened that maybe something will happened.. its so heart breaking that we did'nt expect.
Fun Fact: Halos around the sun or moon are caused by high, thin cirrus clouds drifting high above your head. Tiny ice crystals in Earth's atmosphere create the halos. They do it by refracting and reflecting the light. Lunar halos are signs that storms are nearby
So about the halo, it isnt always followed by storms, depending on the location. I witnessed it in the White Desert, western Egypt, it was cloudy but the clouds were generally high and caused no percipitation.

I recorded a few of these “Sun Halo” myself. It was absolutely breathtaking. Not once did I need sunglasses & there’s nothing wrong with my eyesight👁🧿🧠🔋⚡️
I remember in school this once happened, the whole class looked at it for a while but then it disappeared a few minutes later
When I was a kid I looked at the sun so many times but my eyes are so strong and I can kinda see in dark
Same!
Now I’m an owl
We can all see in the dark .,.
literally everyone can see in the dark
youre still a kid
once one of my moms friend sent a picture of that and my mom was confused so she showed it to dad and said whats this and dad was like ''maybe its the end of the world'' lol
🤣😂😂
Lol
Nah, the halo around the sun doesn't mean it's the end of the world, I once saw one of those and it didnt even rain. The next time i saw it there was no rain until the next day, and I think it was only light drizzle, nothing to worry about.
Man:"find shelter quick!"
Me:"can I at least take a pic"
Thank you for helping to understand the alarming situations.
If you see ring around sun, run!!
Me: Burning my eyes because Im looking at the sun
😂🤣
I'm so glad we don't have snow in Australia 👁👄👁
You have a thriller worthy wildlife to compensate for it 😝🙂... And i wish it thrives 😌😌
We do have snow in Australia , just not a lot.
Yeah same
But we have some in snowy mountains
In winter in the United states, there's a lot of snow. in summer, it's like being on the sun.
The day that we will never forget, i dont know if its coinsidence but when we saw halo around the sun last 2019 sunday at 11:30am before noon.. we thought it was nothing but something bad happened. That time my bf's brother 19 yrs. Old and his cousin 8 yrs old. Was drowned at the river about noon time. Thats the weird things that we also talked about before the accident happened that maybe something will happened.. its so heart breaking that we did'nt expect.
thats so weird, i just saw that a couple weeks ago. i thought it was weird
I’ve watched these types of videos before and I swear I thought he would be all like
“If there is a ring around the sun, Pluto shall come back”
Fun Fact: Halos around the sun or moon are caused by high, thin cirrus clouds drifting high above your head. Tiny ice crystals in Earth's atmosphere create the halos. They do it by refracting and reflecting the light. Lunar halos are signs that storms are nearby
literally what they said in the video
So about the halo, it isnt always followed by storms, depending on the location. I witnessed it in the White Desert, western Egypt, it was cloudy but the clouds were generally high and caused no percipitation.
i saw one of those sun halos the other day and it didnt even rain lol
