I'm using a different type of yarn bc I don't have cotton one and I think the thickness also has something to do with it. Both of mine have come out like bowls 🤣

Probably because of the tension your grip on the yarn is too tight, try to loosen it up a little bit

its likely because you didn't increase your stitches! on round 2, you double stitch into each stitch twice. on round 3, you double stitch once into each stitch, on round 4, you double stitch again in each stitch twice.

Idc is 1dc in one stitch, 2dc is 2dc in one stitch which is also called inc 🤗
