Charlie is kind of anime-looking but exudes the _vibe_ of the character so I'm cool with that. What I would like to have seen is for this set to be done in Human Alliance scale with space in the driver's seat.
Most of those other characters were part of the human alliance line. Might be time for Hasbro to revive that line. Would be great to see a VW beetle Bumblebee with an articulated 2.5 inch Charlie figure. There's a new film coming next summer, too.
The thing that’s not accurate about the bumblebee is that the front of the car on his robot mode the chest doesn’t have the middle piece in it actually looks like the 2007
Given how both the main antagonists Shatter and Dropkick have souped up car modes I wonder what the original script was about seeing as how well THIS tuner version of Bumblebee fits in with them.
@M D R Gaming I’ve collected SS since day one and I proudly displayed the boxes with the number facing out. I do have all up to 56. I’ll have 57,58 and 59 in a month or so. To look at the collection and knowing 1 number is missing doesn’t sit right with me.
I ended up buying two of these back when it first came out over a year ago in order to build both versions of the car... only mine did not come with the road background, both came with a background of Charlie's garage. Must have been a updated change in the newer releases. I did have to glue most of the bodykit pieces on so they no longer transform and are now displayed in car mode on my Bumblebee shelf. Also I displayed the charlie figure with the Volkswagen Bumblebee to be more movie accurate.
I'm getting animated or comic book vibes from that Charlie figure. I wonder how well this version of Charlie would display with Jada Toys VW beetle Bumblebee scale wise.
@@chefatron also the 15 and 27 bees dont have paint because hasbro has to limit the amount of paint they use in products, 15 all his paint is in the stickers and 27 all his paint is in the battle damage
Does anyone know if they fixed the Pin issue in the windshield and roof of the vehicle mode? Because if they did I’m only gonna get this toy to fix the original Studio Series ‘76 Camaro Bumblebee
If I ever do plan on getting this, I’d much rather keep it minty fresh in the packaging, and sticking to my clunker Beater Bee as that version is the best one. Same goes for number 1, only worth keeping it mint and nothing else.
Well it looks like I was hit the by another bumblebee figure reason. I had the one from the original Transformers movie and the studio series 1 looks like I have to get this one
Yeah at first I didn't want to get any studio series but after the rise of the beasts ones I am now going to collect all and yeah I am very very far behind and stuff. I think I am still going to do like I did with the rise of the beasts ones and get 2 to keep one in vehicle/animal(terrorcon/maximal) mode and one to keep in robot mode. This one I may not do it for since after seeing your review it dont seem like it's worth that much in getting 2. Just the movie figures most of them are very hard to transform to me back and forth. I believe the only ones so far that are easy that I have got is the dino bots. I forgot they were studio series but yeah there easier to transform back and forth but others are not.
Could've been better, sure, but this is the best robot mode representation of Movie 1 Bee. (FYI, Transformation is a shared skeleton from the TLK Deluxe Bee, which the transformation is inspired from the MPM Movie 1 Bee.)
i'm so not doing that. i need to preserve the original condition of this figure in case i need to sell it in the future. applying the stickers just lowers the value of this toy. if i get another one, then ok, i'll put the stickers on.
@@chefatron no need to be hostile. I'm not trying to be mean. Granted I was a bit frustrated at first but still. Calm. No need to bust out all guns blazing.
@@chefatron I might buy that one then because i still havent gotten my fix of the junker camero. But quality issues like this and SS Shatter are inexcusable.
Who else noticed that the numbers 1 and 27 were the other bumblebees in the movie he was referred to as B127
.......oh my God it's all connected
Thank God, I thought I was the only one.

great review my man. and bumblebee did turn into this camaro at the end of the movie when he drove off with prime
thanks bro :-) yes, i was talking about the upgrades. the body kit was never in the movie.
@@chefatron my bad i miss heard u
The 1977 Camero which appeared at the end of Bumblebee was what was seen in the first of the "Bayformers" films.
First off, great video. I was on the fence about this figure at first. But now that I know that it comes with Bumblebee, I really have to get this .

Great review chef! Been really enjoying the studio series.

Weird that a bayformer was used for a bumblebee movie figure
Is it just me or does the Charlie figure seem a bit too big? Or perhaps some of the Transformers themselves are too small?
