@@TurbineThree is there a way to put buttons on top of a frame containing an image? when i do that (so the background is not a single color frame), the 4 corners of the button appear, and are not transparent, and that's so ugly to look at. Is there a way to make them transparent?

If you've already completed your application in tkinter and want to change it to customtkinter, you first need to install and import customtkinter and change the widgets you're using to customtkinter widgets.
... my terminal always says (unknown option '-text color' ) whenever i run the command text_color ... cant search for anything like this on stackoverflow T.T
bro respect and everything i see all the effort that u put in the video and i totally respect it, but i hope that u're gonna work more on the quality of the audio, i'm sorry but its not good at all i cant really understand much and thanks
Struggling to hear what you are saying with that thick accent whilst speaking so quick.... I just started using tkinter library, this looks amazingly good upgrade with the styling, and it looks to use the same syntax also, neat.
Hello great video, I want to do something similar to what you did in 4:20 . How can I place an image as a background of a frame and adjust it to the frame? Preferably, inside a class.
Hey, glad you liked the video! For that layout, I used a CTKImage widget and placed it on the left, with all the other widgets on the right. Here's the code for that login application: github.com/RoyChng/customtkinter-examples/blob/master/Login/main.py
@@TurbineThree Cool, thank you for sharing. I found a solution by now, but It's not very responsive. I will take a look at the code and see if I find inspiration.
One thing I want to ask. Tkinter does not provide a direct support for using external fonts. Can I use them using this library? If yes, then how can we do that? Nice tutorial BTW. Bookmarked it for future reference :D
Hey, appreciate the support! From my understanding, Tkinter only allows a some fonts to be used with it, but there seems to be a few workarounds you can try to load external fonts: stackoverflow.com/questions/11993290/truly-custom-font-in-tkinter/
@@TurbineThree I tried these things, but they don't seem to work for me sadly 🥲 Anyway, I was asking for font support through customtkinter. Is there a way to do that? BTW thanks for reply :D
Yup, its slightly better than Tkinter Designer, since the window can be resized and the widgets can be customized quite quickly with code instead of having to change it in Figma and re-converting it
I'm having troubles to add Menu. I know I can just use an OptionBox + Frames, but my project requires a regular cascade menu. I've fixed it by importing regular tkinter as well and using it only for that, but it feels like a waste. Everything else I can just use CustomTkinter.
2:50 mine is saying that the ".get" command doesnt exist, how can i fix it? Another question: im trying to make a functional login screen, how can i make it change the entire screen when i click in the login button? like change a tab in youtube when you click in "home" or "shorts", if someone know how to fix these 2 things, i'll be very gratfeull :)
There's a feature in the original tkinter where you can raise frames, I don't know if this module has it. But you'd basically raise the "UA-cam frame" when you click the login button. As for the tabs its shown in the video
Giving vistual representation of what would the frame look like by the change in line is so good for beginners.
Thanks a million. Great effort to put a rich and informative content in about 5 mins video.
Glad it was helpful!
