This comeback has a lot of meaning to them. It was written by JYP himself after they all talked about their struggles in the past months/year (Jihyos dating news, Sana getting under fire by anti japan people, Minas health etc.). I like that the lyrics can interpreted in a way that they are speaking to each other and to people that need comfort. Twice said they dont care much about the numbers for this comeback and rather have this as an album with a very special meaning. You should check out the full album by yourself, it has very good bsides with meaningful and relateable lyrics aswell.

Yes, this song is indeed about their relationship with each other. JYP wrote it, but the lyrics were basically taken from conversations he had with the members. It’s definitely their most personal album (I highly recommend listening to it and reading the lyrics) and it makes me excited to think about where they’ll go from here in the future. I’m glad they’re getting to stretch their wings and flex their true artistry. I hope people start taking them more seriously as artists/lyricists and stop seeing them as JUST a pop group of pretty girls. Their hyper femininity is no less valid than any other form of expression and its time for folks to stop thinking it is.
I think these lyrics have spoken to me most of any Twice song. I know they've always been good and I've liked their fun catchy music but it just seems like they're growing more and more each comeback
