Love it. I absolutely hate how most lasts intentionally push the big toe in. It's called clipping the big toe, and it's only done for aesthetic reasons, which is dumb because it actually deforms the foot and makes it so the foot can't work as God intended.
I think the Munson last looks even better than the others, I wish more companies would make this last so more people would have proper fitting shoes and boots.
Does the width of the Munson last change compared to the previous lasts? Say if I ordered a builder pro in the HNW last sized 10.5 D, do I still order the Munson last in a 10.5 D?

Grant, the new last looks great. I am wanting to get that last in a steel toe for work, but can I customize an Albert Strider with a wedge sole? The website doesn’t seem to give me that option.

Agreed on form following function as far as the munson. And something to remember about the military guys is that they also have to be able to carry 35-85 lb ruck sack on their back and your feet spread out a lot. So, we would also have guys get fitted for the boots with a little weit=ght on their back. Better to gave boots a but wide than a bit short . Boots will spread out a bit as they get broken in, but they will never get longer. And actually as they tend to curl up a bit when proken in, best to get them with at least a half inch of space in the toe...ar a thumb width distance.

What was done different on the logger ? At least in the video it doesn't look quite as wide and stubby as that cap toe service style boot. Is the toe cap just adding bulk that the logger doesn't have ? I'm definitely one of those people who doesn't like the look of a standard munson toe box regardless of the comfort, but it can be lengthened just a tad to reduce the broad stubby appearance without making the boot feel too big. I find it odd that they did away with the munson toe box and have always wondered why. I wouldn't be surprised if it had something to do with the DMS construction of the jungle boots, but I can't think of any actual reason.

Well crap... Now I have to send my 8" Roberts in for a rebuild. The 55 (15F) is just too narrow at the toe. They're just impossible to wear because my toes splay, and always have.

It's a beaut too. I first want the Turnbull though, which is basically the Ridgeline/Tactical in Munson. A do-everything for me.
