Whoever is saying that he sounds average doesn't know what he's talking about. At that age it's difficult to sing in tune, using the right amount of rasp without sounding like a squeaky toy. He's killing it.
If axl did a Ramones cover at a younger age this would sound just like it. Wow although it’s a totally different vocal sound than the Ramones I LOVE this

I feel you pressing too much to be singing like this and then I hear you going off in a 'normal' voice. Bit of make up touches and being gentle to your voice kid, think of the great singers asking too much of theirselfs. Check the first line of you singing bonzo goes to bitburg and goes out for a cup of tea I hear your natural voice and the sound you try to make.. is more of an image.. more than as true and real I still feel you are a good singer, no doubt.
