Well, nice video. However, I have a few questions for Miss Imaan. "when you say according to moulvis, culture is to beat women", you are generalizing and putting every single islamic scholar that lives right now in the same bracket and basically saying, all moulvis are wrong.
I can see you have issues with islamic scholars, the tone in which you call them mullah etc, (mufti, maulana sounds more polite).
I can see that you do not like people who advise women to clothe as told by islamic teaching.
Since you love talking about mullahs, I'd recommend you to have this kind of conversation live on television with a renowned scholar where you discuss religious side and give your opinions.
Now let's talk about a country like england, Australia or any first world country. Harassment or rape cases happen much more in the countries i mentioned than in pakistan, however its just that media doesnt wanna highlight such issues and make it mainstream. My point is, why dont we all focus our attention on things that actually are root cause of such incidents. Major one being drugs that are becoming majorily common in pakistan. Take zahir jaffer's case ( you even knew him personally from high school). What led him to do what he did other than his sick mentality? Drugs!
You have grown up in islamabad. Have you not seen hasheesh ( gardah) being smoked by 13 14 year old kids?
Have you not seen pill parties, meth parties etc?
Do you not see what they are doing to the mental state of the whole population of pakistan?
My advise to you imaan would be to not be picky and argumentative about every thing that you dont like.
Maybe be supportive to your mother and bring change in the system with her help, such as make your voice about police's in competency heard in the high seats. Maybe give them plans on how to possibly improve the system (better than picking fingers at all times).
I know you from high school and know how smart student you were. You can do better
