Chet you have no idea how smart I am. Driving through Southern Ontario today I but was able to fool my wife with my knowledge about corn, bins, grain dryers, field moisture content, goals etc. She did not suggest we start farming. Love the channel.
Chet you do an awesome job of narrating. Man that grain cart is full; how much t hold. t. Takes a big tractor to pull that baby. You do it a lot differet than we did, 210 acres of hay and only 50 acres of drain ; just enough for chop. Only the milk cows, pigs, chickens, and the work horses got that. U r always thinking of a way to save money and improve your operation; Thank you for your contribution
Maybe there's a little chet coming, or a little jean coming, gonna be 2 in that combine soon, videos are rocking chet, good info all the way around bud, thanks for sharing an god bless 🇺🇲✊🤙💪👍🌽🌽🌽🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Edit.. never mind I finished the video lol.. yeah I agree %100.. it's about time for Chet to have a little monster running around.. I missed this 🤔 where was it mentioned?
I used to run grain cart for a grain farmer in northern Illinois that farmed 7500 acres. Those were the best days of my heavy equipment operating career. I loved it! Great videos guys!
Gotta give the editors some credit. They are putting out great work with the content you are filming Chet. The drone footage was exceptional. Erik appears to be in Big Swede Flow Mode. 😊
I have done a lot of rebuilds because of the tip splitting and dropping in. they say the biggest thing they have found is dry firing electronic injectors mostly from replacing fuel filters at a service and then cranking the motor over until it starts. most engines manufactures have come out with field service bulletins on how they want them primed at service to avoid dry firing.
What a great drone video done for us kids! Thanks Chet, always our favorite part. Yep, OSHA has already classified that JD ladder as the Brody law suit ladder. Window numbers never lie - so glad Chet paid attention during math classes in school!
You guys really own a lot of stuff, great drone footage even on a cloudy day. Brody's combine ladder seems to be a major starter of many discussions...
Injector tips coming off can be caused by water in your fuel. When the water gets to the nozzle tip, compression makes so much heat that the water becomes super heated steam and blows the nozzle tip off. I find it hard to think you have water in your fuel, but it is possible. Working around marine diesel fuel systems for 25 years I have seen it happen..
Thanks for another great video Chet and everyone. It was interesting and enjoyable to watch. Thanks for the drone footage. Gives a new perspective on the field operations. Gives a good eye on how big the grain carts are. Wow. Thanks for the drone footage. So that is this news from Chet and Jean. At the end of the video Jean said some news is coming soon. My guess would be they are expecting a baby!!!!! Could be wrong but am just guessing. Anxious to hear the news Chet and Jean. Another truck down motor wise and another needing some repairs. The breakdowns on your trucks has not been good this harvest season. Wow. The truck named hammer needs an engine or get traded?????? The silver bullet truck needs parts but parts are three days out. Oh my, hard to take at harvest time. Sorry for your truck breakdowns. Hang in there. The field options seem to be going real good. Knocking down the acres real good, seems good yield on most of the acres. Yeah!!!!!!👍 Like the intro. Like the part where you say the headlines for the next one. The new intro seems good too me. Am kind of curious why some don’t like it. Like your announcement for the next video. Guess about it. Thanks for everything. You all take care and be safe. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
You guys will get it at some point, but take it from an old farmer with a bum knee from steps, BACK DOWN THE LADDERS AND STEPS ON THE TRUCKS! Ok, I feel better! 😎
Geez Louise!! Y'all 4 sure have Gremlins 😉 I'm tellin' ya.. I'm sorry so many things have went belly up. I do love watching your show, one of these days this 57 yr old grandmom is gonna drive a combine or at least ride in one😅 They do seem seriously technical! Y'all take care, God Bless🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️
Yup sounds familiar. Farms drop a million on a combine but nickel and dime it with 80 thousand dollar trucks when in the end the truck is just as important as the combine in terms of keeping the grain coming off during peak harvest time.
Yes the putty tat needs some work, man did it smoke. I ran a Caterpillar 637 scraper and it had 47000 hrs on it; done the same thing but mine quit, that was its demise, new engine. My 24 M grader with a C18 calved at 11000 hrs. Older is better
LIKE the new intro! 'If you might ask if I replay any part?'' - BRODY ''You need Medical attention? Maybe! 🤣🤣🤣 - The Concrete pouring..."Forward, forward!''🤣😂🤣
dougo on the hammer depending on how long u plan on keeping or if don't want to put a ton in it replace the jug piston n do complete main bearing n than replace the injector n run n over head on it I did that once n drove the truck over the road gor another 5 yrs before I up dated than u well have a new pan gasket n head gasket
I know a guy with a semi and a boy who would think he went to heaven to meet you. He has been our grain cart driver for 3 falls. And he’s only 9. Watched me and his dad so much he nailed dumping on the go without even being asked to! He’s Chet Larson for Halloween too!! They could be there in just a couple hours!! 😏😏
So my 2000 C15 cat add a number three injector tip go and take out the turbo. The cat mechanic diagnosed which injector tip it was standing in the shop looking out the window at my truck. So it tells me that caterpillar knows bad injectors on those motors.
Love the drone footage . . . but, when I see ALL of the equipment in one shot like that - I can't help but think about the couple million dollars I'm looking at - most people have NO idea what it cost to farm 100's of acres these days.
Chet, our garage mechanic, who farms also told me that engine that blew on your combine is know to have those issues. He wishes John Deere would put another style engine in the combines.
Chet you have no idea how smart I am. Driving through Southern Ontario today I but was able to fool my wife with my knowledge about corn, bins, grain dryers, field moisture content, goals etc. She did not suggest we start farming. Love the channel.
Welcome to southern Ontario! I watch the channel from Guelph, Ontario.
I have family in arnprior Ontario. Some that still farm.

@@nathanhoveyaquatics watch end of video
@derrickpettit86 yeah I see it, I edited my comment in hopes y'all would see it before calling me out lol..
The drone footage takes it to the next level!!
Yes it does never seen better drone shots
Drones really changed how we look 👀 at things

Called it 😂 that thing was knocking louder then the cops at my door last night. Everyone said the injector wasn't firing lol
That grain cart is HUGE!
A semi holds around 1k bushels of corn on average.
That trailer can fill 2.5 semi trailers.
They combine 8k bushels an hour.
Chet you guys all do such an awesome job. My hats off to you guys! Cool video 👍❤️

The effort you put into this really shows!

Hats off to u chet. Your an awesome at loading the grain cart.
Great drone footage demonstrating the capacity of the trucks and grain cart
The drone shot over the cart and truck really shows how big that cart is .
Cart holds a little over two truckloads
200 gators
Thanks for the video. Its better than tv.
Harvest is like a symphony when all instruments come together! ❤
That's a great average. Harvest is always a wonderful time - even with all the stress and "incidents."
A little Chet Jr perhaps??? Would be awesome if so!!!
Firmly convinced a trucker headset is equivalent to pliers on your belt. Absolute must have. Mine goes everywhere I go.
I love your opening. It really reflexes who you all are. Great work!
Your guys videos and drone footage is great and the intro is great as well!!!!
I love the new intro. So clever.
Great video. Thank you guys

I've also heard air bubbles in fuel will do it also. For some reason the 2WS prefix had injector issues
We run Racor fuel seperators keeps water out
Check the fuel tanks on that truck for water. And make sure to use a fuel filter that will catch the water. Ask me how I know that.
brody needs to turn around n back down the latter n hold the rails lol
Where’s the Swede??,❤❤❤
You guys are in the rhubarb to say the least.
This isn’t just a UA-cam channel, it’s a family- like it or not. ❤❤❤❤😂
Awesome video Chet. Everyone stay safe out and about. 🚜🚜🚜
Cliffhanger at the end...

Was I the only one tilting their phone to try and get the corn cob to fall into the head? Wife asked me what the heck I was trying to do!! 😂😂
Tapping my phone in the palm of my hand like attempting to get water out of my ear. 😂
😂😅😂

Another great video. I loved the drone harvest video. Can the exciting news be a baby Chet?
Hey dude love the new interdiction on the videos
Enjoyed it👍👍👍

Dougo was right, should of kept the Kenworth grain truck...
Great video. I hope the exciting news is new life on the way. :)
One of the best show on screen, better than any TV but sadly thats not saying much. man those NASCART drivers are crazy

If you're burning more fuel, check your air filters and all filters.
Good stuff chet
I got a couple gass lines on my tractor yesterday still got a few to go they were all bad lines
You need a mothercart, a monster semi-mobile grain cart to buffer
When you get high mileage truck , change out injectors as a preventative measure.
Love the new promo beginning!
New truck my guess
Imagine a ”Best of Dougo video”. Tons of work to create it but it would be gold. Right?
I like watch your video
This episode was approved for international distribution by Farmyard Foreman Toby. Calibrations deserve closer tolerances.
I’m in Nebraska but could bring my truck up. Haha
Love the drone footage . . . but, when I see ALL of the equipment in one shot like that - I can't help but think about the couple million dollars I'm looking at - most people have NO idea what it cost to farm 100's of acres these days.
Hey I’ll drive and wrench for you next season. I’m a freight liner dealership tech with a cdl
You now have a low hrs C-15 coming back to the farm… it doesn’t get much sweeter…. Try and lock out the $$$$ side of it.
C-15… Send It 🏎️
That would be cool if adept ape rebuilt your semi motor i know he's nowhere near your guys area but he makes videos about those!
Hey Chet for us weird old guys could you get us some tillage on it does wonders for my OCD
Chet, our garage mechanic, who farms also told me that engine that blew on your combine is know to have those issues. He wishes John Deere would put another style engine in the combines.
There is a new 13.6L in the S7 series.
Most are getting the x9 engine including the tractors
@@stevefunderburgh8852 The S7 600 and 700 have an upgraded 9L the 800 and 900 have the new 13.6L. It has 2 turbos on the X9 1100.
Those injector tips can sure cost a bunch of dollars!
Be careful on those long, long harvest days!
Yes, need more trucks and drivers.
omg congratulations! ?????
Nice!
The way that truck was smoking with your dad it looked like oil smoke to me.
My C15 6nz is currently getting new injectors, new turbo, and resealed.
Glad to harvest continue to go well. Take care and stay safe!
Great stuff guys!
Time to rent a couple of backup trucks
