In terms of Feel Special lyrics Feel Special was written by JYP, and he based it off of conversations he had with each of the members. All nine members have lines in the song that can be drawn back to their own personal struggles. It's even more special because Mina one of the members had gone on hiatus during this period
No lie, stanning twice is like the best thing ever.
2019 was the roughest year for Twice so JYP himself wrote the lyrics for FEEL SPECIAL after speaking with the girls 1on1. The girls had gone through a lot of controversaries and rumors that year,
-Jihyo's rumored involvement in Seungri's scandal
-Jihyo's dating news
-Sana's Controversary on commenting about the then current Japanese era
-Members' Injuries and health problems especially Mina's anxiety.
This song means a lot to "Onces" and TWICE.
What, i didnt know about Jihyo’s rumoured in Seungri’s scandal.
A lot of female idols were "rumored" to be involved, but no worries, it was just a rumor. You know how toxic Korea's netizens are at times. They got through it~~
It always felt weird that JYP's response to Twice going through such a hard time was to essentially give them even more work to do i.e. promoting Feel Special

I think one of the reasons Twice is so addictive is just because they're fun. Like I know a lot of people criticize cute concept and yeah Twice between debut to around 2018 before Fancy was very much cute. But they never made the same song to me and it was always just fun music with an addictive/catchy and great vocals/production. I think once you start your Twice journey and really go from Like Ooh Ahh to Alcohol Free you'll see the growth they had as a group. To me Twice is a good example of the transition between teen, young adult, to adult. Like watching the titles and even deep diving later into their albums you'll noticed that you're watching Twice grow up not only visually but as a group in terms of visuals/aesthetic
Old-school Twice songs are my favorite! "Likey & TT" are the songs that got me into kpop!

"Feel Special" was written at a time when the girls had a very difficult time.
On tope of that, Mina was suffering from anxiety and had to be on a hiatus.
When Mina returned, they came up with the song to show how much they love one another.
This is a group of girls who genuinely care about one another, who cry and laugh together like family, and who enjoy what they do together.
I love them not just because they are incredibly beautiful and talented but also because they are genuine and loving toward one another. That's why they're successful.
They just had a new song that came out as a celebration of all of them renewing their contract, the first in the history of their company, JYPE.

Twice sneaks up on you. You start out knowing a few songs and thinking they are pretty good and then they take over. Twice is one of my fave groups so I’m so excited for you to start getting to know them and their immaculate discography. Dahyun (Dubu) has a strong hold on me but it’s impossible to not love all 9 of them so good luck

Diving into TWICE is a loooooong looooooong incredible and fun journey. Please please please please do NOT skip on their b-sides. 🙏🙏🙏 Their massive discography are all well produced, both Korean and Japanese discography has its distinct sounds - like an entirely two different worlds. They have explored all the genre under pop that you can think of. You can react to it on your free time too, that's okay.. Just please don;t skip the bside tracks. Usually, member written songs are fanfavourites too.

In terms of Twice I would just start from the beginning so their debut song (Like Ooh Ahh) and their other titles (in order): Like Ooh-Ahh, Cheer Up, TT, Knock Knock (I would watch TT and Knock Knock together since their MVs are connected), Signal, Likey, Heart Shaker (I would watch Likey/Heart Shaker bc the songs are connected too), What Is Love, Dance The Night Away, Yes or Yes, (you already listened to Fancy and Feel Special which is right after Yes or Yes), then More & More, you already listened to I Can't Stop Me, Alcohol-Free and their latest comeback is Scientist.
It's definitely a lot like just in terms of Korean titles ( we aren't even counting the Japanese comeback/albums). I would take your time and pace yourself because Twice is one of the hardest working kpop groups ever like they have so much content from music to just a lot of variety of stuff so this journey will be fun. For most of their titles, you've probably casually heard at least the choruses but they are so iconic and their talent justifies their popularity. Enjoy your Twice journey but warning once you deep dive in Twice you will become obsessed but totally worth it.
i'm glad you love them omg! they've been my ult group and what made me fall in love with kpop in general. once you get to know them even a little, you will love their personalities and relationship with each other. one of the most genuine groups out there to be honest.

I love Twice so much! I almost saw them in concert but my friend got sick and I didn't want to go without her. There will be more chances to see twice but I love that you reacted to them. They really are talented girls and I love their personalities, styles and sound.

Feel Special is a special song for the fans (Once) and the members themselves. It's the meaningful song of ours fandom. At that time there's a rumours say that they will disbanding or some members will left the group and many dramatic things but til now, they're still there with us.

ah was waiting for this one, im in the process of listening to all of their albums but one thing for sure i will always hype the twice girls cause they, in my opinion, have the most catchy chorus and chorus choreography in all of kpop, so glad you enjoyed their title tracks cause those are just amazing
i just have to say that the time they released fancy, an earthquake hit some parts of my country (no casualties btw) and since then, FANCY became a smash hit.

i really am glad that u truly love jeongyeon, that woman deserves the world. there was a time that jeongyeon was on hiatus, so seeing her all smiley and goofy during tour was also heartwarming for us.
she was this happy little ball of chaos on stage and it was the most precious thing on this planet.
jeongyeon was on hiatus through icsm-alcohol free and came back with it, and then went back on a hiatus from mid perfect world era until half of the world tour
If you need more after I Can’t Stop Me, it’s kind of a trilogy. It starts with More and More then I Can’t Stop Me and then (the almost not released track that the fans demanded the company release as a single) “Cry for Me”. It’s kind of a biblical theme of garden of eden, temptation, giving in to temptation, and the fall. I lost my damn mind when the girls performed Cry for Me at MAMA as a gift for the fans.
Twice's vocals ARE insane! Insanely good. And about the songs being catchy, they fr only release bops. Every time it's a bop. Also, every single on of them the word redefines "pretty", they're so gorgeous as if being that talented wasn't enough! And they have crackhead energy as a group and (imo) are really funny, so them as people are also enjoyable not just as artists. You said you wish more people told you to deep dive into this group and unfortunately this is my first time on your channel, but I am still encouraging you now to get to know them and their music more! Sorry I wasn't able to do it before lol. But yeah, you probably won't regret getting more into Twice, if not for their personalities then for the consistent bops.

So sorry I'm late but that's okay, Twice really are special these girls have gone through A LOT through out the years and they deserve all the love in the world they are all Angels! Never recommended Twice to you before because they’re such a well-known group in kpop and kpop reaction channels. "Fancy" was my first song I heard from Twice so I'm intrigued by this video (interested with the others as well)
There is a story, but the story basically runs across their entire discography. It makes it fun to follow along with.
I would recommend alcohol free next and some Japanese title tracks like perfect world and doughnut their Japanese discography is just as good as their Korean one they treat a Japanese comeback like a real comeback and also they are dropping a Japanese album this week on the 27th with 9 tracks 2 of them are already released so 7 new tracks

TWICE is one of the top kpop girl groups who never changed, i guess that’s why they’re still on top. One pilot, who drove their private plane, even said that these girls were so king (He specifically mentioned Jeongyeon because she went up to him, talked to him and thanked him). Their makeup and hair stylists said that these girls never changed one bit. They’re still the same TWICE they met during their debut. I stanned the right girl group 🫶🏻🥹💛

If you like behind the scenes stuff then Twice will make you very happy. A lot of the M/V's have a behind the scenes series of multiple web episodes (over an hours worth is not unusual). The behind the scenes for What is Love? has almost a whole episode dedicated to Jeongyeon and Sana trying to do the pottery scene from Ghost without Sana taking it too far 😆
