Yooo you did the same build as I did. Mine has a R5-5600X/RTX2060 For 358$, also all of the parts were brand new but not the CPU and GPU lol. But still awesome man. Love to see it.

If i was too do it again I probably would have gotten a different case just to be able to tinker a lot easier. I made a clone of mine using a thermaltake mini itx case for my friend and that shit was wayyyy easier to plop everything into and just close it up and move on lol. Still love my build but be aware there are easier builds out there
Excellent video, and $900 is budget, I’m not rich, but everything used to cost $100 now they are all $1000 for anything cool, think about it thousand bucks ain’t bad you can’t even get a decent bicycle for $1000
I recently build a SFF PC with a S300 case and I love it. Used an RTX 3060 had laying around, R7 5700X, same MB as you, 32Gb of DDR4 and 2TB NVME. Super happy with the results.

Man I keep finding itx videos but nobody shows the acoustics when gaming. I think this is overlooked with this type of build videos because flex psu’s aren’t like the normal big atx psu. Could you do a video where you do normal things such as gaming and browsing and show how it sounds like?
Hi Jammy, what's the total weight of this pc. I'm planning to build something like this and i want to carry this on my backpack as I stay one month at my work place and one month at my home. I'm assuming itx would be better option since my 2000 dollar gaming laptop failed just in 2.5 years.
We save the same exact components except for the psu, i might end up with fsp's non modular 500W. Did you need to undervolt this thing cause I saw some post that they had to in order to get better temps.
What's the limitations of a mini pc? I would mostly use it for video editing and playing apex sometimes with my friends. I don't know much about PC's but it would nice to have a mini one that can do everything I need.
This build would work nicely with VR. If you want better temps, lower noise levels and more room to build inside, the NR200 from cooler master is a good choice.
This is very nice build...but my brother in Christ, 900$ is not a budget PC. Atleast not for 2/3 of the world. This build would go even more in eastern europe, easily going 1000e+.

good luck selling this pc used, already can get 5600 for 100 eur and 4060 for 300 eur, for 1K can build way better cpu, gpu, mini itx build tax :D price, temps, noise.
These cases take low profile, sub 40mm cpu coolers, which are absolutely insufficient for a high tdp cpu like the 7800x3d. I've got a 7900 vanilla, a 65w cpu in mine and the best lp cooler and it still gets Hella hot.
What if I am not gaming at all and only use the computer for media... and watching some charts and some movies... can i skip the GPU save 350 usd and maybe get a better amd with 8 / 12 cores and with integrated graphics... how can I check parts compatability for mini itx cases ? thx
@@dc_verax7456 you can check some pc cases for compatibility on a website called pcpartpicker, but it’s not always 100% A CPU with integrated graphics would be all you need for your purpose. Maybe consider a pre-built mini pc

This build cost under $900 during the time of video upload. You’ll be saving $50-200 with this build vs a pre-build. However you might find some good deals on pre-build or laptops at the same price or cheaper than this if you look around. You can also build this spec using Atx components at a cheaper price than my build because building small pcs tend to cost more than regular size pcs.

I used the same case and am running a 7900 cpu with a 1050 ti. I get thermal throttling playing DOTA. Basically don't run this thing without taking off at least one side panel. I'm going to put in 4 noctual 40mm fans and see if it cools down enough to justify buying the single fan 4070 that just dropped.
do you need to update your mobo bios bc most of the am4 itx mobo only support 3000 series and it need to update for it to run correctly with an 5000 series cpu
@@JammyMunkyTech oh , well i think it should ran into some prob bc in pcpartpicker it got a disclaimer bout the mobo is runing older version of bios and it requied for an bios update , but if your mobo runing good , tha a good one , well can you make a video tutor on upgrade the mobo bios that would help me alot thx .
@@depressed579 pcpartpicker normally has that warning, most of the time the mobo manufactures would update bios for existing models. I.e. if you buy a particular motherboard with that pcpartpicker warning, chances are, the mobo is updated and ready to use with the cpu. It’s also good to check which bios version is on the mobo you are buying to see if it will work with the cpu you are looking to use.
Really really bad advice on the “tighten till you can’t no more” You know the limit because youve built pcs before, someone new will grab the screwdriver with both hands death gripping it and turning when hearing that advice PC’s dont need to be heavy duty, they’re still on your desktop and fan vibrations aren’t enough to unscrew any component, tighten with just 2 fingers on the screwdriver until it can’t turn anymore and that’s about it
450w psu is not enough for 4060 gpu...it will strain the psu too much and will be damaged at the first fluctuation of current. atleast used a 750w with 80+gold. and telling people that they can use 450w psu for 4060 will only punched a hole in their wallet , and will have to buy a higher watt psu before one year passed.

Temps are shit in these cases. Expect thermal throttling on the gpu if you have the side panel on.

That combo will work great, you’ll need to undervolt both cpu and gpu for better thermal results
