Finland - no trees and only snow - are you mad - lol. We will probably end up underground and have just forest all over us. I mean Helsinki already has underground city, even if that's cause it's basically built as a nuclear bomb shelter - which exist every where in the country, public and military both. Enough for everyone. One of them, up north, is literally the Santa Clauses place, a kind of park for kids under ground, for it's 'non-war-period use' that is. But yea - I kinda hope we will extend on those. For one it's cheaper to build underground than on top of the land. With electric cars it would also be - well less of a trouble to keep at least larger main roads open and ice free if they were along with rail roads under ground. And just gradually take more things that can be established down. We already got like some amo factory, and few other important things down, so why not other larger facilities that would be an eyesore anyhow. And well - some stuff can also be farmed underground. Never mind that there is like data centers and underground lake already for water and so on. Shrugs, at least in Helsinki people already use in winter those underground paths to avoid the weather up - and I personally do not like winter - seriously not. And we don't have high rise buildings like in other parts of the world even now. In fact - you know that you are in a Finnish town, when it looks like someone dropped buildings in middle of a forest and decided to call that a residence center.
