- Kongstunen is a traditional Norwegian tune written by the Hardanger fiddler Otte Haukanes (1788-1847). Otte Haukanes lived in Granvin on his farm Kongstun which is located in Hardanger. Otte got the nickname Kongstunen and he wrote this tune with the same name.

Wonderful music, Kristian! Traditional music is one of the types of music I love the most. Although my country's traditional music is very different from this one, I think each country's old music is amazing. Beautiful music. Dang that was good. You are both very talented and I'm envious. I'm sure you've heard before but I tried like the devil to learn guitar and could make all the cords and strum along to anything but anyone can do that and when it came to fingerpicking I sucked!
