You are correct it took about 5 flights to get my gyro settings correct from moving the over from 480...
The collective response with the 550's @ 12 degrees is the best part.
totally different feel in the 550 vs the 480 ,it fly so much better and lighter feel , I bumped mine up 13 degrees pitch and wow thats what im talking about
Hey Shaggy, Where's Scooby-Doo??? LMAO
He's six-feet away ;).
@@horizonhobby HaHaHaHa Great Come Back Shag! How About Some VTOL Planes Videos Instead Of Helis???
Nice video,if you don’t mind me asking where did you get the little cross looking wrench that you used on the blades and tail?
Are those stickers included? Cool and fun idea if they are. Happy flying and stay healthy everyone!
Nope, they were custom made by Callie Graphics.
Yeah I converted mine definitely flies better with heavier packs. I use 6500 no problem..
@@scotmash1 Interesting...
Dope idea bro.
super bro
Hey folks, I have a fusion 480 with the stretch kit and FC6250HX flight controller. I'm wondering if there is a quick trim feature I am unaware of?!?! The swash is level, and the controller has been calibrated. However, the heli wants to fly backward slightly. Other than that, I absolutely love this heli.
Its tail heavy, try pushing battery farther forward
@@jonathanrigley981 Yeah, tried that but still no go. I did end up fixing the issue by leveling out the rotor head with a bubble and recalibrating the sensor on the H6250. Works perfectly now.
Man this fella looks like the lead singer of Smash Mouth. I keep expecting him to open a video with a rumor debunk led with the line "Somebody once told me..."
I'm not new to the hobby by any means but haven't flown a Heli for near on ten years i guess, the last Heli i had was the Blade 400 RTF i think it was which came with the DX6i if you brought that particular bundle of course,my point is what benefit do you gain by doing this mod? apart from the obvious which is to make it bigger, which in turn gives you more authority in the air i'm guessing.
P,S, Still got a couple of old CX2 Helicopters in my hanger lol,one with stock body the other with the Bell/bubble canopy not HH made, sorry 😉 could never let myself sell them no matter how my the missus wanted me to lol, they were apart of my learning curve into our great hobby, just thought i'd share that.🤣🤣 Oh and nice flying by the way.
Sorry for the complete noob/novice question.
Stay safe with much love and respect coming from the UK.
