Pay attention not to try removing the glass, as in the previous Galaxy models. Here you have to split the back cover open by inserting the tool very close to the back of the tablet. It is hard to pry the back open on this tablet A, you may break some small tabs in the process.

Hello, it's a spudger you can use for also any soft plastic tools to safely pry open the back cover without scratching it but X-Acto knife is too sharp for this work
Is the tablet held together by a metal frame? What if the whole device was bent due to, let's say a bicycle accident. If the device is bent, does it mean that the motherboard is bent too? Or is it just the frame (assuming that it is held by a metal one) that is bent? My device is still functional btw
Hello, it hasn't a special metal frame for protection from bend but the housing is created as pretty strong as able to protect MB. If the tablet is bent then primarily would be broken a display. However the answer to question about has MB damage or hasn't anyway determines a diagnostics of device

Woke up today to try and check my emails, like i normally do on my Samsung galaxy tab a 9.7 SM-T550. Turned it on swiped my password was browsing my emails. Everything was going well, up untill i noticed somthing strange as i held the tablet. It went from cold to on fire in seconds!!! I ended up dropping it because it was hot!! But for some reson i quicky grabed it and removed the back, umpluged the battery. In hopes no further damage could be done. Im no tecnition, but it didnt take long before i noticed the chip right behind the exspandable sd card slot. It read + with 475 below. The chip was compleatly fried! The fumes were awful. I will note that is wasent on charge, and hasent been for several hours. Nor was it running for very long before this happend. On top of all that, Im just now reaching my 30 day mark of owning the tablet from brand new. Unforchently I have no warrinty of any kind. Is there any saving the tablet with a repair? Or has my tablet been lost, along with all of my personal data?

+vremonte24.ru Basically in order for me to get the tablet up and running again, I pretty much have to replace the entire mother board, its hard to find parts for this kind of thing or I would do it myself, after seeing the price it would cost to have a professional fix it, I'm better off buying a brand new one, still cant believe that it overheated like that, hope that it doesn't happen to my other galaxy tab a, almost afraid to put it in a sealed case now

In your case a specialist must to disassemble the tablet and make an estimation of damage.

yes it is, when we talk about repair Samsung we frequently confront with not cheap cost of parts that does the repair more expensive.

the Replacement the MB it's an extreme measure when it don't have other way and if you exactly know that mb has gone.
