- Hey guys, today we finally get rid of the big chrome eye sore on the front end of the truck. We install the best looking grille on my Toyota Tundra!

I didn’t use them, I just took them off.
I have an 07 will this work if I buy the two parts? Just purchase the grill surround and the actual grill?

Do you know if this insert would fit in the stock 2013 chrome surround? I am wanting to keep it chrome with the TRD insert, and it would be way cheaper for me if it would just fit in my stock surround.
Yes it should, I bought a 2010-2013 surround, because it only fits in that. They don’t make the insert for 2007-2009 models, they have a different grille.
White would be cool, like a TRD of the 14-21 part of the generation. But where did you find the insert, how much was is? How about the surround? Where was that found and how much was it?
Just realized I didn’t add the links in the description, I just linked them there. The insert alone is $170+tax/shipping. And the surround was $145+tax/shipping.

1.) Would the insert fit on the stock 07-09 surround?
2.) Anyone have a link to the brackets for the 10-13 grill? Or part numbers? Having trouble finding them.
No, it has doesn’t fit on the 07-09. Here is a link to the driver side, they had the left side too.

How many brackets should I get to replace the old brackets? Or should I just not get the brackets?
There’s only 2 brackets when removing the grille, one for each side I believe. Without the brackets, you just have to be more careful opening/closing, but I haven’t had any real issues.

Is there a video that shows how to change out the inserts?
There’s tabs along the inside of the insert you have to pry open to get it out. It was a bit more painful then I thought it would be, so I didn’t film it. I was just trying to get it done haha

I would use the 2010 ones, the old brackets don’t work. I honestly didn’t use them.. but plan to get the brackets eventually.

Lol, I think 2 did. For whatever reason, it was very difficult for me, most videos I’ve seen it’s been fairly easy.
White out that emblem! I think accenting it white would look sick

I finally got it to fit the grille got warped somehow so it would not line up. i just had to bend it back.

What year is your tundra? If it’s an 07-09, did you need any extra brackets to put the 10-13 grille on? Or was yours already a 10-13 to begin with? Thanks in advance!
Mine is a 2007, you do need to change the brackets from 07-09 to 10-13, however I have not and have been driving now for a few weeks and haven’t noticed any difference. It is a little more wobbly when the hood is up, but when it is closed, no issues so far.
After watching this I did for me it was pain in the a__ the brackets don't match you end up with cable ties 😂
@@afreenrazack4409 I didn't run the brackets, you have to get the 2010-2013 brackets to get them to fit with the new grille.

It should yes! 2007-2009 are the same grille. 2010-2013 have that new style!

I'm gonna sound like an angry old f*** right now. I realize your generation doesn't get it, but the failing is the part of the process that will help people out the most. And for some reason, you keep it out, why that is the content.
I didn’t film the whole entire hours plus of me trying to accomplish it, so there was no content to add of trying to get them out, achieving the goal and then adding the new one.
