I totally understand where you guys are coming from that they should be able to endure not seeing their families for a bit longer. When people play Survivor and they get to see or hear from their families after being away for just a couple/a few weeks into the game, they always get very emotional. J.T in Survivor Tocantins gets a letter from his mom where she writes that she loves him and he remarks that she'd only ever told him that 3 times in his whole life. They'd been in for 50 days by that point, plus, you never know what could happen in another 50 days. It's sad, but that is enough time for something to randomly go wrong in someone's life health-wise, there have been contestants on reality TV shows who have lost loved ones while competing, Frankie Grande/Ariana Grande lost their grandfather while Frankie was on Big Brother 16 (although that's a grandparent, still). I think it was a no-brainer for $10K (each) to see their family in-person when on Day 30 or whatever it was $10K for something like a phone call or spices. Then you have to account for the fact that they already made the trip there to see them and it would be really sad to reject them lol, and on top of that it's on her mom's birthday, and your family probably wants to see YOU too badly, so to say no would be super messed up and greedy lol. $10K is a small dent but seeing your family is priceless.

Some families are close believe it or not. I understand what yall are saying but 100 days are a long time without seeing your parents when u get along with them... anything can happen to them while your isolated....its like being in a asylum
