This has some really, really great info. I have once dabbled in all that stuff thinking it was Christian as well. Heck, I was friends with a store owner of a shop where they sold all that divination stuff like crystals, books on how Jesus didn't really die on the cross, and she considered herself a Christian. I haven't gone back there in over six years, but ever since I was a little kid eastern mysticism has always been prevalent in my life either because of my or family members/friends, and because of that, I've had bad anxiety and night terrors ever since I can remember. God has been slowly clearing me of that anxiety but it still comes back sometimes, especially the fear. I still can't sleep in a dark room and I'm 30. but I think I never truly repented of these things, and now that I think about it, I will.

Some degree of education in modern day Judaism is very helpful in outreach and support of our Jewish neighbors, something with which every Christian should concern themselves.

You can't redeem New Age because ultimately New Age teaches that you, the individual, are free to do anything you want and explore any spiritual practise you want if it serves your own development as defined by you. Sometimes there's a hint of karma but in essence New Age tells you that you are your own authority and as long as it justifies your own needs/desires you can do/explore whatever you want. And usually it's expensive to explore those areas. Christianity invites you into a relationship with God whilst acknowledging your sinful nature, we're purified and justified by Christ's work on the Cross- and through our relationship with God we grow into our full potential reflecting God's plan for our lives. We have the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the foundation of scripture to teach and inspire us (as well as direct us towards the Living God rather than being deceived by the Occult). There is no sin in New Age so it can not be redeemed. Ultimately all New Age offers is 'learning experiences ' with no true healing because there's no requirement to change yourself at a fundamental heart level, you are told you have everything within you to grow/ heal and can turn to spirits or teachings for information but that in the end you have the inner light to shine on your own path. Christianity shows us we cannot save ourselves, no one is without sin, only He who had no sin can pay the price for our sins. And in turn, through grace we can accept salvation through Christ's work on the Cross and come into fellowship with the triune God. How can you entertain redeeming New Age when it's teachings are a mixed bag of the serpents original lie "You shall be like god"?
Yeah but you didn't understand the passage before talking to her. So I like the NIV for making sense in our language and not the other books. Everything else just doesn't make sense in america.
I found Astrological birth charts to be ACCURATE. Dozens of people I did it with over the years, we found out how accurate your behavior was according to your birth chart. (I don't care for the Daily Astrological readings, though.) I don't find Astrology in conflict with God. I find that the order of the cosmos, shows me the brilliance of the ORDER that God is. : )
But the Bible tells you exactly what the stars are for and what you're describing is divination, through and through. A Christian's life shouldn't be bound by the world, by the stars, 'cause you are no longer of the world. If you find your life is dictated by stars, then perhaps you need to reevaluate your relationship with God.
@@oystersoup3434 I don't think you read what I typed. From dozens of FIRST hand accounts, we've found that your BIRTH chart (Astrology) accurately describes your behavior.
