Oh I like that Steve! More roomy than my cast-iron one, and it's working so well. I might need to go get one of them!
Haaahaaa , I will keep an eye out for you as well You.
Won't be disappointed! Have?
A good week greg
That actually works quite well! Wish I was making fajitas, but instead I'm recovering and cleaning up from tornadoes last night. I was supposed to be out camping for my birthday, but we came home when we saw the weather had changed and we were going to get storms. Then that turned into multiple tornadoes at 2am 😂
Ohhhh nooooo everything ok ??? Happy Birthday regardless , hope all is ok Chad
@@doinsngoins had a tree get blown into the back of the house power is out and they're saying to expect 3 days before it's back on, cell/internet doesn't work, and one piece on one of my motorcycles was broken by a big branch that was thrown into it, but so far that seems to be all
absolutely fantastic Steve. Yes definitely on my watch list. Tacos looked amazing fantastic job as always I don't remember seeing any cheese though maybe I missed that part😂 Once again thank you for sharing absolutely fantastic
🧀 CHEEZE OH no , you are right , Next time 😀 😃 🙂 🙃 😊 😇 😀 😃 I hope you are having a great weekend .
Nice! Going to have to try this on my Coleman stove.
Thank you Ryan , please hit me back up with your progress 🙏 have a great memorial day 😀
Great job
,,,good find,,,good cleaning,,, = good looking food,, man oh man you are just to cool Steve,,,
I have been looking for one ever since you got your first one.. no luck..but Friday I found a campchef cast iron 13/15 inch griddle top… next week I’ll give it a try..sorry about the storm ⛈️ hope you have a generator, thank you sir, enjoy
Sorry , I think Chad got wallopped by a storm , just gloomy here , today was actually nice . We'll Patrick that Griddle is a score , we'll done ! Breakfast your place tomorrow!
The Camp Chef griddle is a separate accessory. They either warped it and did not like it anymore, or they just decided that they preferred a large skillet.
I have the propane "17 inch on the go griddle" from Blackstone, it's a small table top Griddle, it's Griddle fits nicely as well .The Camp Chef accessorie you mention, the link is in the description.
Wow that works great brother! 👍🏻
Sure, does Dom thanks for stoping by , I hope you're having a great long weekend, buddy
Looks good . That is a great idea . I got a top at a yard sale i think it will work
I have that same grill. My dad bought it in 1963. I refurbed it and use it on every camping trip.
Have you ever thought of seasoning the griddle in the oven like a cast iron skillet?
Yes I really need to , maybe on my next pit fire, this grill I just picked up in the last 2 weeks , I really just wanted to get the bulk of the rust off and oil it up . Thank you for sharing your story, I really appreciate it 😊 🙏
DANG! You just made me absolutely NEED one of those orphan griddles! That looks like it works awesomely!
Thanks Robert, you won't be disappointed, hope you are having a good long weekend 😀
GREAT tip on that griddle!! I've always got my eye out for one that "fits" the stoves I have. I have a couple original bare aluminum Coleman Griddle, Toaster, Broilers with the racks and heat shield/reflectors that work ok but they don't have much real estate and can be a really PITA because they don't have back and side wall stops like this one. And if you don't watch your heat, that aluminum sticks like crazy. Those walls make a HUGE difference and allow you to really sling a lot of food much quicker and easier. I've been telling myself to go to the scrap yard and get some steel plate and weld one up but it's low on my priority list unfortunately. I'd like to get one for my little two burners like this, one for my 413s and one for my 426s as well. So much to do, so little time. haha! Have a great Memorial Day. Take some time to think of those who paid the ultimate price for us. They are the reason for this holiday.
Amen on the purpose of today , 💯 thank you for the info and sharing, by the way the aluminum Coleman Griddles are fantastic, I have a couple in there. Absolutely phenomenal cookers
@@doinsngoins The aluminum on the bottom is thicker at the burner locations for more even heat distribution. Aluminum conducts heat MUCH faster then steel or iron, which is a mixed blessing is guess. As long as you keep the heat under control and cheat with some canola safflower oil/spray, the work great. I must admit, I never tried broiling or toasting with them, haha!
It's a good thing I just had lunch, as if I didn't I'd be salivating all over my nice clean floor!! LOL You're even having what I actually had for lunch, but mine were chicken!! Otis approved too!! LOL
Ha ha ha. I have a feeling that Otis approves of much of anything daddy cooks?!
Nice set-up! Thank you for showing it to us, Steve. Stay safe and stay cool
Very cool, I got one of these last year at a yard sale for like 5 bucks. I didn’t know what it was till now. I guess I’ll be cleaning it up and trying it out on my 3 burner. Nice! Thanks.
Awesome, you know what ! Was just thinking today 3 burner may be even better , as you can make Coffee on #3 ! Well done , let be know how it goes ok 👍
your right that fit is fantastic!!! i was thinking i bet they get orphaned because they are heavy, and folks probably load one thing and decide to go back for the griddle latter and ooops distractions arise and something gets left behind....LOVE IT !!! NICE JOB !!! looks like a fantastic meal!!!
100% or those cheapo propane until crap out , who knows 🤷♀️ 🤔 , keep your eyes peeled ok ! 👍 find any goodies?????
@@doinsngoins oh i will !!!! i gotta get one now i know just what they look like !!! i found a little backpack stove called a Olicamp it says USA on the burner, ever had one?
Thanks for sharing!!!! 🎉
Thank you for the comment and stopping by play much appreciated. I hope you're having a great weekend
That Looks Sooo Good.
That is so cool! It fits like a glove.
Thanks for sharing have a great weekend.
Great idea. Enjoyed the video. Have a great Memorial Day celebration.
Dang....I swear I could smell it cooking!!!! I might have to drill a hole in my griddle.... Nice job Steve!!!👍🏻
Yes ! That little gradule slope down to the gravy fixins cup 😀 must have , Chris had to take a nap after that one 😴
A black stone grill without the black stone price . Awesome discovery Steve
Steve the phone fix made the color of those peppers pop . Looked delicious. You have yourself a good holiday weekend and a super week ahead .
Thank you, Scott. I'm going to reboot my phone weekly now , this video was done in the shade, my phone doesn't do well in low light , the Peppers were fantastic 😀 thanks for coming allong
looked pretty good to me Steve
I have to get me one of those Griddles.
Have fun hauling that up top to mountain! 😉 Great cleaning and seasoning it all up. I have the griddle for the 2 burner Camp Chef stove. I wonder how that would fit using 2 Coleman stoves?🤔😉 Do ya think that griddle would fit on a 502? It would work,, but probably not very practical.
There is even a round cut out for it undersude , 500 would maybe even better !
@@doinsngoins FYI. The griddle is actually sold separately from the Camp Chef stove. It's not part of a complete stove package, like a Blackstone griddle. At least, they were not originally.
i wonder if it would fit nicely on a 413 G since they are just alittle bigger then the 425's
I think it will fit perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate a minute. Try it out definitely. Keep your eyes open for one. And I wouldn't even be shy about this buying one. 😀
I have a coleman elite 9948 stove. Not sure what to call it, but you connect the bottle to it. The part has been stripped. Can you help.
Interesting, yes, maybe ..., can the stripped part be removed, maybe follow the line back a bit to see it there is a nut or a way to remove it .
@@doinsngoins It screws into the back of the stove and the little green tank attached.
looking for a griddle like this for my sons bday. do u think it would work on a fire pit? loved the video!
It absolutely would work on a fire pit. Maybe put 2 bars across and set that on there. You'd be good to go. Take a look at how I use my giant frying Pan on an open fire pit. It would be much the same, except. This would be even better because it would have the backboard to push against
That 425 and the griddle are made for each other! In your other video awhile back you couldn’t use your windscreens. Did you do something different this time around?
I just didn't pull them out before, no issue at all , good catch on that , I don't use the wind screens unless there is a cross wind , it gives more room to reach in from the sides, I suppose I prefer not to use them . But rest assured. The Griddle doesn't keep them from being used . Thank you Steve , have a great week 😀
@@doinsngoins good to know, thanks. I’m gonna pull the trigger on one of those camp chef griddles. Seems like a great little combo.
@steventure7939 Steve, before you do check out this deal because it's the same grill and then you have the full on propane solution and you can just take the grill with you for camp stove cookout

What a great idea and i will have to try it out. Seeing you pump the tank a few times really brought me back to camping with my Dad in the 60s and 70s. My brother still has that Coleman grill and I have a propane version. Thanks for the memories.
Thank you so much for sharing , it is comments like this I enjoy the most , If we can spark a memory or exchange kindness 😊 home much better, can it be !!!! Thank you for you kindness and comment, have a great week
