If I helped in any way, I feel honored. I love him and will always be there for him if he wants me to. The only thing is I can't keep hurting myself. I'm tired of emotional mind games, hot and cold behavior, lack of honesty and effort. In my case, out of all priorities in his life, I probably don't even make the list. Though I have been there for him when many others have not, and still am. As he is recovering, he is distancing. Which is fine if he doesn't want a comittment or emotional connection. I know I'm not a very attractive woman and perhaps in that respect it is difficult to love me. However, I do have beautiful soul and character. I'm open even to a friendship. Not sure if he feels I'm worthy of that either. But I hope God will show his heart what kind of person I am, and hope that if he is choosing some else that he will keep promises regarding the help I provided.
