The good old days when summer Sundays were spent Chirpsing pretty girls in Hyde park. Farrah slacks, Cecil gee jumpers, sovereigns and Chapperita bracelets, gold tip Bally shoes. And also the days of the notorious Sticksman dem Lol.
80s funk & soul is having somewhat of a resurgence. Probably because music today is mostly impossible to dance to. Hearing lots of 80s funk/soul played in bars and clubs, especially in Manchester & London. People love to dance to great music. Simple as that!
Always reminds me of the hot summer of 1983. I used to go to band practice in a youth club in Bradford and it was constantly playing. Great tune, great vocals.
