So I have a 2017 Kia Sorento. Even though I was working on the the left door I found your video extremely helpful. Although after I completed the install and tried the window it only went halfway up and down. I found myself helping the window to get it to close all the way. Your thoughts
i have 2017 kia sorento i need right rear window regulator like you did on video. Would be appreciated if you can tell me where to find those part which a little bit cheaper. Called kia delearship & the price was expensive. by the way, i like your video was very helpful
I just did this very repair and your video was very helpful. Thank you! If you do another, I would suggest maybe some better camera angles or closeups. I was a bit scared because your video did not show certain connections or how to un-connect, but I eventually figured it out. I would have been so very lost with out this video though. Thanks again.
Hello.. the video has been very helpful. But I cannot get to the plug near the lock assembly so I can remove the regulator panel. I have a 2017 Kia Sorento. I can get my hand on the plug but I cannot get the plug off… should I remove the latch assembly? If so how can I do that?
So it be same way of removal and when you get to regulator bring window all the way down.. theres a rubber plug in middle of metal plate , take off there is a phillips screw. Loosen screw and the seal on top of the door where the door card sits and window will slide out
Any reason why you were replacing this part? I'm working on a 2017 and every time the window gets about halfway down you hear a pop and that is the only thing wrong. Other than that it works fine. I'm seeing prices for $200 to $280 for this part which I don't want to pay for.
🙄 lovely, I was just trying to help a friend out because their kid broke their door handle off, didn't even have to touch the regulator. Oh well, thank you so much for the quick reply! I appreciate that!
Thanks this video was very helpful. Our 2016 Kia Sorento regulator went out yesterday. I'm gonna do the repairs myself. It'll save me $820.00
Thanks for the helpful video! Could you show how to replace the sunshade on the same door?

Thanks I do appreciated it. Seems you’re pretty good & honest man

You would need to remove the outer door handle and then the three 30mm torx bolts that hold the latch on
Do you have one for replacing the window on this same model kia?
