How many people have ideas to make money? Raise your hands.
How many people are not sure of how they are going to make money? Raise your hands. Raise, raise. Don’t worry about the other person. Raise.
How many people are completely convinced that your idea is going to succeed? How many? Very few, less than ten. So that’s the problem. That is the problem. Only ten people are completely sure that they are going to succeed. I want to raise my hand when I say ‘I want to succeed 100%, completely succeed’. Nothing else is acceptable for me.

I got to succeed one hundred percent, one hundred percent. I want to be on that camp. There are two things- you want to do something and want to be successful in that area. You want the divine to help your agenda. This is not the divine agenda. It is your agenda and you want help from the divine. It’s like Jesus Christ who told God, ‘I don’t want to die. But if you want me to die, I will die because if there is a choice between your will and my will and I want your will to be done and not mine. Although it’s very painful to die, I am prepared to die.’
Now I want you to also to look at the situation with the same perspective and this is Lakshmi’s will and she has made it very clear to you and you have your own will. What you want to do? You decide because you are the ultimate person to decide.
This is exactly what the divine wants.
God said, “Well, I put you here in this beautiful garden of Eden. You have everything here. You have no worries, you know. Just be happy but don’t go and eat the fruit from that tree. Do everything else but don’t eat that fruit from that tree.” Eve disobeyed, for whatever reason, tempted by Satan. She had the free will. She could have told Satan, “Get out”. She did not. She disobeyed.
God wants 100% commitment Now the only problem here, there is only one problem. The problem is your own ego. Your own ego has some vested interest. You love so much what you are doing. You love so much whatever you are doing like baking. You love baking so much that you won’t go and do something else. Though God is coming and saying ‘Do this’. ‘No, I love baking. I will only do baking’.

Then you cannot expect cooperation from the divine. It’s so easy. It’s very, very easy and you need to sacrifice only one thing and that is your ego because ego is stupid. Ego is clinging on to certain limited reality but ego is very powerful, very, very powerful. It will not allow you to change your profession, to change your business, to change your thoughts.
It will keep you a victim for the rest of your life, rest of your life you will continue to do the same.
if you go on chanting ‘Om Lakshmiyei Swaha’ or ‘Lakshmiyei Namaha’, then the goofiness will disappear because the very word Lakshmi means ‘goal’, ‘goal oriented’. I want to be goal oriented. What if I don’t have a goal? So understanding Lakshmi, understanding the Goddess is understanding your goal, because ‘Laksh-mi’ in Sanskrit means moving with a goal, moving towards a particular direction with a goal. So Lakshmi means ‘direction’ and ‘goal’.
Let’s say, you start from Toronto, but you have no directions to come to Manhattan. You will never arrive at Manhattan. Maybe you will go to Vancouver. Why? Because you have no directions to come here. So you have to have a direction, you have to have a goal, ‘I have to go to Manhattan’, then you will go to Manhattan. Then you will have a direction. Then you should keep chanting ‘Om Lakshmiyei Swaha or Namaha’. Keep on chanting it, then you will never ever deviate from your goal. Then you will go and work on your goal.
The divine can do anything and everything. But you have to have faith. Life is only a battle between you and the faith. How can I have faith when everything is failing and then there is no proof of things happening? I wanted to change my life ten years ago but nothing has happened. Let me tell you it’s not the fault of the divine. Then whose fault is it? It’s yours. How? You have an answer?
