Sir, in 15:11, while computing the 2nd part of the change in void ratio in the virgin compression region, we are basically computing the difference in stress from the preconsolidation pressure to the final applied pressure. So, inside the log's numerator, why are using plugging in the value of the initial stress and not the preconsolidation stress?
