You know what auntie when I was a child around four years old my grandmother left me with a half sister that she really trust and she came back and left me again when I was six years old and she came back and left me again when I was nine years old, and that was the worst trauma in my lifetime. It affect me till I was 37 years old and auntie if I could see you one day just to have a conversation I will tell you the whole saga but for right now I’m just letting you know I would smile as if everything was OK but deep inside it affected me mentally and physically.
Joshua has male role models around him. So next time, let Joshua pic one of the male figures in his life who is like a father to him who can be there for him and represent him on Father's Day. Encourage him once a week to have a close male figure that you can trust spend an hour to play ball or do guy stuff. I know some single mothers find a role model for their child who will volunteer their time and give an hour a week. It is very important to little boys to have a male figure in their lives. Fresh is there, and he cares a lot for Joshua.

Auntie this topic touched me because my baby father was murdered in the US recently. I have 2 adult children for him and they are taking it very hard . Especially our daughter who is an adult and she is also autistic she cry any scream every day and Trenton to harm herself. She has been living with him all her life so it is hard . Anyone that have an autistic child understands her mind is like a 10 year child . But she is 30 years old . She is in therapy but it is not helping her she just wants back her father. Our mother chose not to remarry -- and raised six (6) of us, as a single parent. We asked many times if he was coming back -- until we were old enough to have understood-- he was gone for good. We complained to her many times about some children telling us we had no father. She'd tell us she was our mother and father ( not an accurate statement) a mother cannot give a father's love.( I'd NEVER be able to talk about celebrating Father's Day with my father.) Having said all this -- we can all lay CLAIM to missing out on something growing up. Raised rich -- can't talk about being poor. Raised in BIG/ SMALL family. Raised with all sisters -- can' talk about growing up with brothers. Raised with all brothers -- can't talk about growing up with sisters .Only child -- can't talk about being raised with siblings -- and the list goes on ... No one should use what they missed out on, growing up as an EXCUSE not to be their BEST in life. If you have children in your care -- no matter the living arrangement.
