Honestly, both are badass. Pillar Men's theme mainly gives me the vibe of someone who is going to kick your ass, while Strohiem's gives me the feeling of no matter how much you try, you will never succeed in making him buckle a knee.

This actually makes a hell of a lot of sense when you remember Stroheim's character. The quotes are mostly Nietzche, who insisted that if mankind was to survive, it would have to become stronger - a species of conquerers, if you will - hence, more evil. Stroheim with his becoming a Cyborg quite literally embodies taking that mindset to heart. Like he says, he's become the peak and pride of German science.
I think diferent Stroheim you can considerer a good people with his allies and apart people But his ideology wants to eliminate al morality to do everything to beat their enemies
Also, in a way it's exactly what Stroheim did. He was evil. Well, despicable. Ten minutes after his first appearance goes around feeding people to the Pillar Men, threatening girls and, well, he's a fri**in Nazi. The literal embodiement of evil. Then he gets worse. By getting worse, he gets blown up in a zillion pieces. By becoming worse, he "gets better", that is return realizing that if the Pillar Men are left unchecked there would not be a human race anymore and helps Jojo. "The man is evil. By becoming even worse, he can get better"
Stroheim is probably my favorite fictional Nazi of all time. A true anti-hero, not some guy who is half-heartedly a hero, but a guy who has a legitimately evil ideology but still aids in saving the world nonetheless because he has wants and cares like any other human being. He isn't "NAZIS R BAD" guy. He's "Nazi's were people too" guy. Plus he's a cyborg with a fucking UV eye-laser LMAO.

Literally, the greatest and most reliable side protagonist there has ever existed in the entire Jojo arc. Utterly brilliant. He even felt devastated when he considered Joseph dead. Talk about character development. He had guts of steel. Both literally and figuratively. A LITERAL UNIT. More like 80% machine. When he returns back as a Cyborg, his arms, legs and lower torso is fully mechanized. Dont forget the machine gun in his stomach. After that, his left eye is shown to be mechanic as well. At the time he dies, which is the battle of Stalingrad, He has 4 weapons stripped to his back, meaning only human part he has left is probably his brain.

This actually makes a hell of a lot of sense when you remember Stroheim's character.
The quotes are mostly Nietzche, who insisted that if mankind was to survive, it would have to become stronger - a species of conquerers, if you will - hence, more evil. Stroheim with his becoming a Cyborg quite literally embodies taking that mindset to heart. Like he says, he's become the peak and pride of German science.
