The Goseiger Debut during that crossover was the first time that was done and became a way to show off the team until I think Rysoulger. I may be wrong. On the Rider side of things W/Double was the first rider to make a debut in a movie and this has been a mainstay in that franchise with I think only Gaim, Drive and Saber being the outliers.
That glue fight scene with that OST is one of my favourite Sentai fights of all time.
