Summary :- The Dalai Lama said here that all religions carry the same message of 'compassion.' They all focus on warm-heartedness, tolerance, contentment and self-discipline. Most religions believe in an all-loving, father-like creator. So surely that way of looking at things makes us humans all brothers and sisters. All the same creation of one God. Indian religions believe that we humans are responsible for our own experience. Either way, a sense of concern for other people is ultimately the best way to be happy.
To develop peace of mind, firstly, you should understand that the destroyer of peace of mind is not external (outside of yourself). It is your own internal enemy, anger, that destroys your peace of mind. When anger comes, our own peace of mind automatically disappears. But the antidote (cure) for anger is Karuna (compassion). A sense of concern for all humanity and animals. Be kind, don't harm them.
Today on this planet, anger, jealousy and fear really create a lot of problems. Military weapons, including nuclear weapons, destroy peace. Human intelligence should be used to find the best solution to the threat of nuclear weapons. Then later, try to demilitarise the world -- to do away with all armies. We are all part of one worldwide human community. We need more loving kindness based on the feeling of oneness with all 7 billion human beings.
People are calling for world peace. But without peace of mind, then world peace is impossible. Inner peace is about thinking in a realistic way. You realise that anger and fear must reduce, and that we are all part of one human society. Through inner peace, our activity becomes more peaceful and constructive.
The Dalai Lama was asked if people can knowingly do evil. He answered that the ultimate (essential) nature of humans is pure. We can all, through training, purify our own mind until, eventually, this mind can be Buddha's mind. We call this 'Buddha Nature'. Buddha said that all negative emotions are superficial (shallow)(trivial). On the deeper level, the basic nature of the mind is pure. All these superficial, destructive emotions can be reduced and eventually removed. Whether something is sinful or not, ultimately depends on the motivation (intention). In the advanced Tantric tradition, there are wrathful Deities (Gods?) who appear sinful. But actually, their main motivation is helping humans, so what they do is not sinful. For some people, a little bit of wrath (anger) is needed. If it is done out of sincere compassion, it is not sinful. If I were to egotistically sit on my high throne and selfishly use my title (status) to make some money from teaching, then those teachings would be sinful. Any action done out of selfishness or anger, including teaching, is actually negative and sinful.
Q.3 40:00 The Dalai Lama said that compassion is the opposite of anger. It is the counterforce. When we develop anger, the thing we are angry about [wrongly] appears (seems) independent (separate from us) and absolute (very real). This creates more anger. Buddhism teaches that things do not exist (happen) as they appear. Nothing exists independently. Everything is interdependent. For example, your enemy is ultimately (actually) your own mental creation. (The definition of interdependence is :- Nothing is independent, permanent or absolute. Everything is part of a limitless web of interconnections, and changes constantly. Everything comes from causes, and produces effects).
These two powerful methods reduce negative emotions :-
    1) Through compassion, develop 'wisdom-sight' (wise insight?) and see that nothing exists independently.
    2) Consider everyone like they are your brother or sister. We are all interdependent.
Verbal, physical and mental actions are all karma. Karma makes an imprint in our mind, which carries life after life. Positive action reduces negative karma, and this way we can reach 'Buddhahood'.
Scientists say that self-centred, narrow-minded people have much more worry, anger and anxiety. Anger is physically harmful. So respect others. Openminded people consider their so-called enemies as their best teachers. Self-centred attitudes cause inner disturbances.
There is a limit to this planet's resources, like food. Global warming is very serious. The future generations will face difficulties if there are too many people. Out of a sense of concern, we humans have to think in a holistic (pure) way of some birth control. I think it is very relevant. He half jokingly said that if there were more monks and nuns, then that would be the best form of birth control.

i believe that scientifically speaking it is not easy to achieve peace of mind without belief in certain outcome.
thus peace of mind is fragile and the reasons should be eliminated not inner self adjusted.
can practice not giving in to anger because its predictable. but that causes self destruction out of nonanger but anger influenced emotions.
it is special saints who can be without anger and without fear, but perhaps not even saints.

Hi His Holiness and other awakened souls.
I have a question. It’s quite common for our community to question government and now also the covid vaccine.
This questioning seems too overall stem from one very specific root. Awareness that the world is under ascension, and having the cabal/shadow government/dark entities try and put a halt to that process by lowering our vibration so that the ascension does not collapse the system we currently have.
But the main question I have is, if this process of ascension is inevitable, and universal. Isn’t it bound to happen either way? Vaccine or not? With the cabal resisting it or not? So really, what is there to be afraid of?
Would love to hear anyone’s opinion on this.
