Ever since i switched yo pc about 2 years ago. Ive been playing more retro boomer shooters and it has greatly oprned my mind to other games. Seeing an old game has a ton of stuff and mechanics is really cool to me know. I waz waitimg yo plsy this hame but ill prob try ion fury first.
I'm looking forward to this... in about a year or two when it's all patched up. It's very undercooked sadly. NOT the dev's fault. I blame embracer group.
Man theese retro games only leads me to yeearning for ONE DAMN THING...revival of my old beloved Quake 1 arena ❤Would be so awesome to get to rocket jump around dm6, air gibbing fools with the Shaft and telefrag the unsuspecting once more! Would be so nice to try it out with todays internet connection ❤
Like gibs, like the lighting, like the Loverboy, love the bombs, like the destruction, like the locations; can't stand the shotgun. The shotty is one of the most used weapons in most retro-FPS titles, and they went and made it look like a bad Quake 2 gun. I don't understand why can't get any variations of the Mossberg anymore? Or why nothing can look remotely like the Benalli? Why do shotguns these days have to have these weird designs that just don't look very satisfying? A real shame because a lot of newer and more modern shotties are actually inspired by many of the classics, just with more updated utility for accessories and mods. It feels like a lot of games have become completley uninspired when it comes to gun designs these days. After replaying Bungie's old games, like the Master Chief collection and Oni, you could really tell they were willing to step outside of the box when it came to weapon designs, but they also made many of them look really cool too. These days we rarely get any kind of weapons that step outside the box in any significant or memorable way.
@@obsidian3136 I mean sure, but "Boomer" shooter shouldn't preclude cool factor. Have you seen many real-life shotguns that have come out in recent years? They look more awesome than what we get in games these days.
Looks amazing by its trailer but sadly the community on steam forums is not so welcoming like other games. Will definitely check it out nevertheless. Too bad it also was not released on consoles.
@@TOBI.SARU. I have not been able to play this game so i will look away from my experience with the demo and ONLY focus on what the devs are presenting us here. At 1:41 the player is talked to by a character, some introduction to plot and such. However what you also notice. You are in the same room, same height and you are told you are awake. The screen goes to black and you are playing, but where did the general go? Hiding behind your back? This could have been solved in so many ways, it could have been a hologram, he could sit down with a radio or open a door and leave the room. Having a character just vanish is jarring. At 3:31 We meet our first enemy problem here again is presentation, as in function in this world. The guy is facing a comptuer, levelcap makes the comment that he might be coding. However there is no sound, no animation or anything. The model is the same model used in the next fight. The AI is just "off" to it triggers. Probably there to be punched but there is nothing to indicate that you should punch him. The game drops the balls here with not only giving you a place to try it out but also building the world. At 6:49 a congo line of enemies just run past the player and the 2 first drones do not react even to gunfire. The 2 next soldiers react but only in attacking they still follow the same path. Im not going to continue as i hate this kind of sloppy stuff. Its unpolished for what ever reason BUT THIS IS THE FIRST LEVEL!

Old art styles blended with new technology and lighting is great. Valheim is a good example, pixelated graphics with a good lighting system.
